Thank you to this Grandma for showing us how to make this. I know to her it seems simple as she has made it many years. Young women today are seldom taght from a young age how to cook so need us older cooks to help them. Many times the young girls at my work would ask me how to make a certain dish, so, I finally told them to decided on two items they woild like to now how to make and chose a day to come to my home and I would show them. It was a LOT of fun and we now do it often. Many did not even have basic cooking skills. I am 68 and I still am learning to make dishes from other countries so appreciate this video. Thank you very much for posting.

I sincerely appreciate your taking the time to preserve and document the priceless cooking heritage of Abuela's culinary cultural heritage. My favorite recipe is her Chicharon con Chile Colorado - I can get all the ingredients for it at the Super Mercado (Acapulco Tropicana) here in Bradenton, Florida!

I've been cooking this for years for my husband ! His entire family is from Mexico and my husband was born here in America once they came over here legally. I love this recipe! We are pregnant with our 5th child and I make this with tomatillos. I love the red and green chilaquiles! We eat this everyday when we visit Mexico, and now we have them here all the time because I've learned to cook them 👩🍳 just had these last night for dinner. It's our favorite go to meal anytime! Just came across this video right and i can't stop crying this gramma is a gem.my mother had me late in life so by the time i was in my 30's she was already old and people thought she was my gramma i wish i could have one more day with her.Spend as much time as you can with loved ones cause you never know when the lord calls them home to cook in heaven.the best dishes are the ones i can't have any more miss you mom.
Hello from Toronto, Ontario Canada. We just got back from Puerto Vallarta and since we got home we have been craving authentic Mexican food just like we had in Mexico. So I found you and your mom? or Grandma…(sorry don't know who she is) but she is fantastic. I started to follow you guys and I LOVE the food. Although I have to cut down and diet soon since I find that corn makes you fat around the middle……in the meantime, before my diet and I am going to town and enjoying your simple, easy to prepare Mexican food. thanks so much and keep them coming. I've been cooking this for years for my husband ! His entire family is from Mexico and my husband was born here in America once they came over here legally. I love this recipe! We are pregnant with our 5th child and I make this with tomatillos. I love the red and green chilaquiles! We eat this everyday when we visit Mexico, and now we have them here all the time because I've learned to cook them 👩🍳 just had these last night for dinner. It's our favorite go to meal anytime! Just came across this video right and i can't stop crying this gramma is a gem.my mother had me late in life so by the time i was in my 30's she was already old and people thought she was my gramma i wish i could have one more day with her.Spend as much time as you can with loved ones cause you never know when the lord calls them home to cook in heaven.the best dishes are the ones i can't have any more miss you mom.

We just got back from Puerto Vallarta and since we got home we have been craving authentic Mexican food just like we had in Mexico. So I found you and your mom? or Grandma…(sorry don't know who she is) but she is fantastic. I started to follow you guys and I LOVE the food. Although I have to cut down and diet soon since I find that corn makes you fat around the middle……in the meantime, before my diet and I am going to town and enjoying your simple, easy to prepare Mexican food. thanks so much and keep them coming. Even though I am a "gringo" I love spice and the not so spicy too so I really enjoy your recipes.
