Brazilian Blowout Facts:
Brazilian Blowout professional smoothing treatment creates a protective protein layer around the hair shaft to eliminate frizz and smooth the cuticle.
Brazilian Blowout is customizable, which means it keeps curl but takes away the frizz. You can customize this treatment with the amount of heat you use and the amount of passes you take with the flat iron. The less heat, the less straightening and smoothing. The more heat, the more straightening and smoothing. Consult with your stylist for the amount thats right for you!
You can leave salon and immediately, put your hair in a pony tail or style it without worrying about changing the shape of your hair.
After about 12 weeks the solution rinses off and your natural curl pattern returns. There is no line of demarcation with new hair growth.
Make sure you use sulfate free shampoo! I recommend using Brazilian Blowouts products, but if you don't get them sulfate free works too!

Hi. Is this product available for Australian hair dressers?
I have virgin wavy hair- on the dry side and pretty easily damaged from heat styling. Do you think this would be too damaging for my hair? Or maybe it’d be better for my hair if I can flat iron it less after the treatment? And will it dry out my hair more?

I have very similar hair as Natalie (your client in the video) especially as she said, the baby hairs are my most stubborn ones, but what if I do not want my hair to fall that straight? I personally like some waves but just wish to tame the hair. Do you recommend any other way to maintain the natural waves of the hair? Thanks
I think it still keeps your waves
This isn’t the recommended way to do them 😬 tho! It looks smooth at the end but to really get that shine you needed to saturate it more. I took this class and this is not the way you do these unfortunately.

Hey! You don’t have to rough dry the hair 90% before applying product? Just goes right on wet?

When do you repeat the treatment ?
Every 3-4 months depending on how much the Client washes their hair and also if they use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner!

I’m a little late, but you have to have a cos license to buy the products for the treatment.

You can wash or color the same day if you like.
No! You can not color your hair immediately. You have to wait at least 2 weeks to color. If your color your hair first you can apply the Brazilian blowout right after and it will seal the color in

If you meant to ask if your hair could be parted in a different way before ironing, yes you can.

Can I buy the kit myself to do at home? Can I buy the aftercare myself? I would like to get the step 3 home aftercare but I think the salon 💇♀️ went to overcharged me for the shampoo and conditioner! So I’m didn’t buy the 3rd step they recommended. If they would have told me before was done that I would have to pay another $100 for aftercare I might have been prepared or if they would just make a set price including everything so we know what we getting into beforehand so we don’t feel tricked or ripped off by such a huge difference in price when it’s time to pay. It’s a shock to have that big of difference in price quote then actual price I would at!

Sana Bhatti hey love! I always do it because it’s a pretty hefty treatment going onto your hair. The conditioning treatment really does make the hair feel amazing and refreshed again. I also worry about the product sitting and drying out the hair. I wouldn’t recommend it! ❤️❤️❤️
What happened to the cleansing wash before putting in the product?
She said wash it 3x with clarifying shampoo before applying the product
In the video the deep conditioning treatment was used after the flat iron and rinse. In the instructions now on the BB website it doesn't say anything about using a deep conditioning treatment for that step. It says to use the ionic bonding spray? Is there a difference using one vs. the other for that step?
The company only introduced the Ionic bonding spray in the last few years. Before that spray came out they would have you use the conditioning treatment after rinsing out. Nowadays you just rinse and use the bonding spray, it's way faster!
Will this product turn silver white hair yellow? I’ve tried Inverto60 Keratin treatment on Amazon. It works great but turned my hair very yellow.

hi daniella. so i recently got certified. and i attended a bbo class. the instuctor told us to section in 4 and i see u didnt do that ,, is it really necessary to section in 4 to apply the product??

I know you wash the hair with the Brazilian shampoo, what is the solution called that you use before blow drying?
It’s a whole kit. You wash it with a clarifying shampoo becomes wet which is step one and then you move on to step two which is the solution also known as the Brazilian blowout solution that actually tames the hair and fills in the cuticle. After you apply the solution you blow dry it with the round brush and then you flat iron each section of the hair, no more than half an inch sections about 10 times each with a flat iron to seal it in. After that you wash the hair again and spray step three solution and then just blow dry to seal it in
You can only get the real Brazilian Blowout if you are a stylist and you have to take a course with them before you can buy it

ARMY R US it lasts up to 4 months with the right home care and I would wait 48 hours before you go in any water and avoid salt water and chlorine if you can!

You can’t. Unless you have a cosmetology license. You also have to be certified by taking the Brazilian blowout course online before you can buy it. If you’re licensed you can go on their website. Type in Brazilian blowout and you’ll find the website. The instructions on how to certify with them is on their website.

Daniella Benita this is what the stylist did to me after the blow dry and iron process
there are other products like Brazilian that actually save a step...if they didnt wash you after flat ironing..they probably used a different brand..I know the Chi and Rusk versions dont require you to rinse and condition after...(saving a step) so either they didnt do the Brazilian right or they used a completely different product

Aishat Lasisi yes it needs to be very high in order for it to work, the recommended heat is actually 450 degrees
If it’s compromised hair (chemically damaged, or really blonde) I would use 400 just to be safe and do less flat iron passes. But as long as you have healthy hair it’s perfectly safe at 420!

If i may, It usually stays for around 2 months if you do it properly! However, it also depend on your hair and how you treat it.

I charge 250 for long hair 200 for medium 150 for short. Most salons charge 400+ but I like to keep it affordable! The product package itsself is around 350. You get some shampoos conditioners and the tools needed to do the service. It’s totally worth it. Great product!

I was just told that BB has a shelf life and that you shouldn’t use it if it is over 18 months from when you purchased it.

DimondsarePurple JustaDream Maybe try using sulfate best shampoos, but the treatment will still need to feed out gradually. Maybe the use of sulfate base shampoos will just help the treatment fade a little bit quicker.

My hair salon didn’t use the deep conditioning treatment on me. They just left it after straightening and told me to wash my hair after 3 days. Is that an acceptable approach?
