Updates, Abigail Elphick (the Karen) is not a teacher's aide, at least not at the school people thought. The school district is completely denying that she ever worked there. Additionally, she is 19 years old, which would make it highly unlikely for her to have any type of job that requires extra credentials.
I come from a family of teachers that was no “mental breakdown” I have been around many to see this was a FAKE tactic. A teacher is not qualified to be in a workplace with children if their mental trauma is that extreme. Tantrum at best she knew her life/career was over once she saw the phone.
I’m very curious what prompted the initial attack where she lunged and swung at the lady doing the recording. This behavior is laughably outlandish and unacceptable no matter the persons cultural background or skin color. I’ve watched this particular video many times and it looks to me like Abigail has behavioral issues and has learned that faking mental/emotional troubles is a convenient “Get out of jail free card.” I will say that the Police didn’t seemed concerned with the victim at all. Witnesses say it was Abigail who started the confrontation. Has she just turned on her heels and walked away this wouldn’t be anything… but now we have this moronic display to contend with. My issue is the way the security and police handled it. I’d didn’t seem like they showed the victim any respect and instead coddled the aggressor because of her fake “panic attack”… and her skin color.
