Factory spec on the gen 2 2025r is 2000 psi +- 150 psi. Where did you get 2400 psi?
TM147619 Gen 2 2025r Technical Manual says 2050-2250 psi. You're right that I'm higher than that but I'm not hot rodding it. I may lower later in the season if I notice any popping or creaking or anything suspicious.
Interesting. I do not have the tech manual. I have a 2022 2025r. The owners manual is a 2020 version 10. Page 400-1 states 2000 +-150 psi. I wonder what is different. I would love to take it to 2300 for that extra little bit of power. What year and version is the tech manual?

Great video man! I’m on my second 2025R. I now have a 2021 model. Had a 2015 before, it had a little stronger backhoe (270) I think? And front loader a little stronger as well. It got totaled though 😂. Long story👍

It's the only way to do it safely for you and the tractor. Bolt on hooks . com should have it.

Tempted to adjust my psi plus 50... it's a 2018 Gen2 2025R with 768 hrs. No issues at all thus far, maybe best to leave it be.
If you don't HAVE to mess w it, I wouldn't.

My 2016 1025R is weaker than I’d like. I’ve had 2 occasions where it would lift as much as I needed. I bought the Titan forks and probably mistakenly selected the 4” forks and should have gone with 3”… the Titan forks with the headache bar is 298 lbs. by itself

Yeah, if you went from 1950psi to 2350psi that’s about a 20% increase in lift capacity 👍
That only works in this very specific scenario where we know that the hydraulic system is by default around that pressure and rated for that.
In general, there is a lot of complexity to be accounted for when formulating lifting capacity. You couldn’t put 4000 PSI on it and say “I got 50% more lifting capacity”.
Where did you get your pallot forks from and how much do they wait?
Titan attachments. The frame weighs 120lbs and the forks are 80lbs each, so about 300 total.
So the nut you turned to adjust the pressure, would there be an o ring behind it. I had John Deere adjust the pressure but then I had a hydraulic leak and they said the o ring was bad. Make sense?
Maybe. I'm sure you can look up the parts diagram and find out definitely.

Looking to adjust my 2020 2025r, mine is a bit below 2000. did you keep the 2400 or did you adjust back 2250?

Btw my best update to my 2025 was 2” bora wheel spacers.
I adjusted to just below 2300. I did notice when tightening the 14mm lock nut the pressure went up. Be sure to account for that movement on the valve. I will test for a week or 2 and reply back.
I kept mine where it was and it's been good to go so far. My next upgrade is going to be wheel spacers as well.
Can you share the pressure gauge you used also when you hooked up the pressure gauge were you using the loader joystick to get the pressure to show?
you can get the kit from boltonhooks . com and yes the loader up circuit
If I pull the tire would I still need to remove the fender liner?
The liner has to come out either way, the tire being removed just gives your hands more space to work.

Very helpful video. I just picked up a 2025R and see you are using a measurman gauge, is this the same as found on Amazon?
The hydraulic hookup came from Bolt on Hooks. The gauge came from a local hydraulic shop. I'm not sure of the brand.

I do not believe it does anything to the backhoe or any rear implement.

Not sure about the backhoe , but I know the hoses are rated for 3000 psi, and if the rating is 3000 psi I garuntee the actual point of blowing a line would be more like 3200 and up IMO . Just read this and thought would reply even if it's over a year later lol .

100% Chineseium/weak material. They warrantied it. That said, this was months ago and this thing has been tremendous since. I've worked the hell out of it. I wouldn't be worried.

@@JohnDoe-dk8zz No problems at all. It's a much more useful machine. I've seen people run much higher PSI than me. I think deere sets it low to reduce chances of tip overs or overloading the front axle.

No. It's off-road diesel. Heating oil is different.

you failed to physically show & verbally say what direction ya was loostening the nut & allen screw to make your adjustments!
If you don't know what direction to loosen a nut, please DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS!
@JohnWCH How about ya tell me/ us what direction to loosen the nut & what direction to turn the Allen screw. . . .1/4 turn, 1/2 turn, 3/4 turn so on & so forth! Shoulduh done this explanation during the video to begin with!!! Stay safe!
