I'm actually really curious how much content had to be cut for The Miz RTWM story. That sounded like just a portion of what was removed

The cancelled "Miz: Road to WrestleMania" campaign should've returned for WWE 12 since The Miz main-evented WrestleMania 27 and retained the WWE title against John Cena in 2011.

What have Yukes done after the 2K WWE series, "AEW Fight Forever".
Look at how poor that game is. Few modes, PS2 style graphics, limited rosters. 2K made the right decision dumping them.
Yukes were great during the THQ era. Their games were awesome then.
But that was when games were on PS2 and 3, not 4 and 5, and gaming has advanced. Yukes drawn graphics models aren't wanted in today's modern gaming. Yukes needed to step up with the times.
Honorable mention: The Wolverine and The Deadman. Speaking of the SVR08 Removal of Benoit, The storyline did mention about Benoit being responsible for the death of his family & what's funny is SVR07 predicted the entire segment with insane accuracy & WWE demanded the entire thing to be removed but it was too late as the segment & the storyline was retained in the game

SvR07 was developed and released in 2006. The tragedy happened in 2007.

I do miss Intergender Wrestling in WWE games. Recently I was playing 2K22 (post server shut down), and I made my own version of April O'Neil from TMNT (after spending my long time trying to find an outfit similar to her Yellow jumpsuit from the '87 cartoon) and when she appeared on her first match in Universe mode, I had her team up with, of course, Casey Jones, also from TMNT, in a Mixed Genders Tag match against Tank Dempsey and Shantae. It just reminds me to dislike the PG Era more.
The intergender matches need to come back! Every fighting game you can fight men vs women, but wwe games. It's ridiculous!

I wouldn't mind hulk hogan being removed from wwe entirely for his despicable acts he has caused over the years.
Hogan is a saint compared to the likes of thugs like Jimmy Snuka & Dynamite Kid. At least he didn't horribly beat women, or commit murder, but he gets a worse reputation from these low lives.
The removals of Jeff Hardy in HCTP, Chris Benoit in SVR 2008, and Hulk Hogan in 2K15 all the way to 2K19, really hurt the most for me. Although 08 wasn’t the best SVR, Benoit’s inclusion would’ve helped a lot, in not just dream matches, but also improve the story mode since I heard he was a huge focal point in it. And while the 2K games aren’t the best, the removal of Hogan in the first few games definitely hurt, as he’s one of wrestling’s biggest icons, and I’m sure many of us would’ve loved to make dream matches with him and the current talent in each subsequent game. Lastly, while HCTP is still the GOAT, it would’ve been more fun with Jeff Hardy. It is what it is, but such a shame these had to happen.😕

Hogan was in 2k15 but his dlc was removed after the racist incident he say, for people who didn’t brought the hogan dlc, miss out but the only way to play as hogan is the path of warrior (ultimate warrior showcase) dlc pack
Jeff hardy, Hulk Hogan/ and a classic Hogan, also ultimate warrior was removed from Here Come the Pain last second even through they had a render and everything
Benoit being the main focal point of the 08 story been debunked by Bryan Williams. The guy who was in charge of the 08 story apparently just didn't like wrestling and half arsed the mode, he barely showed up to meetings when the mode had to be discussed etc.

Adam Cole, Bray Wyatt, Bobby Fish, and Daniel Bryan not being in 2K22 was a super sad decision 😢 and didn't make sense tbh since they were a mega part of the pandemic era which was still going in 2021 and WWE said they'd scan everyone from July 2021 and so forth which means Bray should've been in the game

I really wish they'd allow intergender matches. My gfs and I like to make ourselves or OCs in wrestling games.
When they stopped intergender matches, the game was much less fun. Why bother doing our favourite part, making characters, if we could only use them in a tiny part of the game? At that point, why even buy the games?

Having Benoit in svr 2008 would have helped flesh out the roster since that game roster was so small n so bad but yeah Ik why Benoit was removed but I wished they left his moves or entrances in or wished they didn’t remove him completely from the game like having him be a secret person to unlocked

The answer to each removal is simple, Vince is petty. Sometimes he doesn't want someone in because of heat. Sometimes the billion dollar company simply doesn't want to pay someone royalties.

They are the license giver. They always say who's in the game and who's not. People forget that things with game development are different with licensed games compared to such that are just between a developing studio and a publisher. Like they Studio who made the latest Jurassic Park/World park building games games said they can't just change things because they like to, they have to ask the company who owns the IP and sold them the license, if they can do so. While with their own game, they can change whatever the heck they like.
Sadly WWE is more interested in Names, language and who's on the roster than the true quality of the game. If you look at the NBA2k games, from the same company, WWE2k games are inferior in their overall quality till today. I doubt that the NBA knows more about video games than the WWE, but still, if you compare them regarding graphics and content (also if we talk about legends), you compare a C+ game, which is WWE2k to a B+ to A game which is a NBA2k game.
They should have a rolling pin on a pole match, in which if the Woman lost and the male wrestler got it, they'd have to make them a sandwhich every day for 30 days hahah

Iron Sheik has been known to use a certain word a few times. He wasn't blacklisted. Andre The Giant used a certain word towards Bad News Brown I think, but he's not been removed from anything. Its only because of Hogan's public fame with wrestling & WWE that they had a fit over. They've not taken action against other people, such as Sheik or Andre, or even Michael Hayes.

@@xristostsagaris594 I don't know. I got it on Steam and it had all 3 versions. For some reason it cut out things like Paige and if there were any belt/ring creation modes. But, I have 3 Hulk Hogans (80's yellow, 90's NWO Hollywood, 00's red/yellow tye-dye pants) and 2 CM Punks (old theme and cult of personality theme).

number seven i want that back and i want that back NOW because over the years the divas have been getting into matches where they don't belong such as the royal rumble. remember when beth phoenix eliminated the great khali? or how about karma? divas in the mens royal rumble and more and they got away with it. and it just p***ed me off that i couldn't punish them in the games anymore and so i want number seven back and i want it back NOW. number nine i want stuff like that back as well i miss all the fun those games had.
