I don't drink. Partly because I absolute hate alcohol and partly because I'm a recovering addict.
I agree so much. I can have so much fun without alcohol or drugs. However, it took a long time to learn this again.
I encourage everyone to drop alcohol, personally. It is actually very very bad for you. Any slight benefits you may receive from it can be found in alternative ways that don't cause damage to other parts of your body .
Obviously, I don't judge people for drinking. I just want more people to understand that they don't need it to have fun.
I don't drink either because my mom was an alcoholic and died of a drink-related cancer when I was 16. Thanks for telling your story, your parents and you are a shining example xx (I have a massive sweet tooth as well :) ) It's hard growing up if people judge you for not drinking, but in the end it makes you completely resistant to peer pressure and ensures that you live for YOURSELF and not other people!! Love you lots xx

i don’t like the taste of alcohol at all, recently i’ve started liking pink gin and lemonade however the feeling of being drunk/tipsy also puts me off drinking

Been thinking I want to stop drinking for ages, doesn’t agree with me and makes me feel shit but I keep getting negative reactions from everyone I say it to but hearing this makes me know I am normal and it is ok 💪🏼 I adore your honesty and how up front you are, inspiration 😘
I WISH I had the same mindset as you cause going out = drinking to me, afterwards I feel sick and disgusting but I can't party without drinking, I'm just not confident enough (I do love the taste of alcohol but when I party I don't drink for the taste) It's sad

Love this video! I don't drink because of my religion and I'm so glad that there is that restriction in place. Islam has taught me so much and the reason we are not allowed to drink is because it is an intoxicant just like smoking and drugs.❤ My religion teaches to respect ourselves and with drinking you can be taken advantage of. Everyone has their own reasons and I respect everyone whether they drink or not. Spread positivity not hate ❤

Vi Te I appreciate and acknowledge everything you said but I didn't mean it in the way that all intoxicated people are taken advantage of or will, that why wrote 'can' and not 'are' but it can increase the chance. In no way was I thinking wrong, just wanted to say how sometimes you can lose a sense of respect for yourself if something has occured to you while you are under the influence of anything drugs/drink like something which happened to a close friend of mine. And it is truly horrible. And in no way do i have a toxic way of thinking because i am being truthful about things that do actually occur. Rather than taking the chance with drinking alcohol, we completely avoid.

I get the most horrendous hangovers when I drink and then just wake up feeling really down about myself and life in general and every time i'm like not going to drink again but then I always go back to it because i feel like i have zero confidence without it :(. Im the same imogen. I dont drink cos of my stomach and i have gallstones. And i just dont like it anyways. If i go out (once in a blue moon) i’ll have water and ice. And even the bar staff look at me funny. Yes im a 22 year old girl but just cos i dont drink alcohol doesnt mean im not missing out on anything. In fact the night is free, accept taxi fare and food hehe. I literally couldnt care less what people think. Good on yaself girl. I think people are too judgemental sober or drunk F it you get one life. Just live it x x

I don’t drink but my parents do, people usually judge me for not drinking especially cos I am 18 now and people are like oh you should be drinking because you are 18.. I don’t particularly enjoy being around people who are drunk, that’s not me being judgemental but I just know what people can be like once they’re drunk 💜

Omg I'm so alike, I don't drink anymore neither and people say I'm as hyper as if I was drunk. If there's good music and company I'm crazy I let my hair down haha. My boyfriend drinks now and then a bit, but will never impose that on me. Some people do not drink, some people do. No one has to drink or not just like anything else in life. You do you Hun 💜👏🏽

Imogen, I am so glad that you were able to meet a small portion of your Huns that love and support you. Unfortunately I am in America so I couldn't be there to meet you, but I know you were with people who love and support you just like I do and that makes my heart warm! ❤️ you have touched the lives of so many people, some just through a phone or computer screen and you are a blessing to so many with JUST your kind words and genuineness. The way you live, shows others how to live a proper positive life. The way you love, shows people that it's impossible to give out too much love to people you care about. The way you laugh, shows it's okay to make mistakes and laugh about them.. it's okay to have trials and tribulations in your life but at the end of the day life goes on and you always have love left to give even if you think you don't. The way you work so hard to produce content (even though it just seems like you're my sister just face timing me when I watch your videos) is amazing and it doesn't go unnoticed. Your ambition to work hard every day for your Honeys shines through. You've got grit girl, I know it's probably so one consuming and difficult at times to make sure you're filming your day, packaging merch, editing, writing descriptions, answering people and trying to stay active on social media, and posting your videos and going through the comments.. you probably have to remind yourself to eat and take a toilet break you busy angel 🐝 we may not know each other but I am so proud of you and how far you have came. From the bottom of my heart! I do not go to sleep without watching at least one video of yours because it puts happy thoughts into my mind! ❤️ i actually feel like you're a family member of mine. i love all of your videos but some in general have really helped me and put tears in my eyes because I relate to them so well, and last weekend something terrible happened to me along the lines of what happened to you in the past and I am thankful i had a positive person like yourself explain that it's okay to feel those emotions, because that's how I'll get through it. There are disgusting, terrible, horrendous people in the world that's for sure.. but people, especially like you sure do make the sun shine a little brighter ❤️🌞 your soul radiates happiness into so many people's lives and just know for the 30 mins or so that people are watching your video, you're making thousands of people forget about their problems for at least 30 mins and feel a sense of comfort from you and your sweet words.

I’m the same, I was once peer pressured into it when I was about 13/14 I got so drunk I couldn’t walk and no one helped me, I ended up practically crawling home since I couldn’t walk by myself bare in mind since my so-called friends left me alone, still to this day I still can’t remember getting home and I’m thankful for all the random strangers that took me him and held me hair back when I was sick and gave me water when it was needed, so we’re on the same boat hun, true hun 4 lyf x

I love your story times they are my fav 🦋 I suffer with anxiety and panic attacks, and when I get anxious I feel really sick so if I ever feel sick I associate it with feeling panicky and I’ve gained a fear of feeling and being sick - so I completely stopped drinking or if I do I have the tiniest bit and I mix with lemonade or something because I associate it with feeling sick and/or being sick. 😫 you don’t need alcohol to have fun!!! But like you’ve said, nothing against anyone that does drink! You do you! 💙

I love this video Imogen ☺️ and I don’t drink alcohol anymore, I had a really had relationship with alcohol and I was an alcoholic and binge drank for 1 year and 2 months of my life, but now I can happily say I am 5 months sober today ☺️🙌🏻 I’m ever so proud of myself! it just goes to show in life if you put your mind to it you can change your whole life ☺️ and anything is possible with having faith, and keep shining your light 🌟

I can relate so much. I had a very similar experience with alcohol at those ages and also decided to pack it in this year as it's definitely not for me personally, but would also NEVER judge someone for drinking if they wanted to despite some people judging me for my decisions! X
I don’t drink alcohol either and I totally agree with you on so many levels with this! My boyfriend enjoys the odd glass of wine or can of beer and I’ll just sit there with some water (or coke as a treat) and he wouldn’t have it any other way 😂

You get treated differently when you do not drink alcohol, but I am finding that the people around you that try to peer pressure you into alcohol then they are not true friends :(. I was 15 when I started going out & all my friends drank alcohol (not an excessive amount of course), but I really disliked the smell of it so I just drank diet cokes, and my friends never pressured me (which I am very thankful of). On my 16th birthday (legal drink age in my country) I drank a glass of kriek (a fruit beer), but it wasn't until my 17th birthday I actually started drinking alcohol (like 1 glass when I go out). I'm now 18, I've never been drunk and what's really fun about being sober is that when your friends drank too much and they forgot something from the evening, you know it all 😂😂

I’m 31 and only recently felt comfortable enough to actually stand up and say I don’t really like drinking! I’ll happily sip a couple of glasses of prosecco but usually feel pressured into drinking more when I’m out. So good if you can be true to yourself earlier on and just stick by what you want to do. x

I so agree! I drink, but that doesn't mean I judge others who choose not to! I definitely people need to stop worrying about what others do because drinking isn't a trait that everyone needs! But I am the same way with dancing!! When I go out with my boyfriend, he is ready to go by at least 1:00 2:00 and I always end up begging to stay just so I can dance! 😂😂 love your story times! xoxo

This video remind me, sometimes i tend to be someone who im not, it feels weird and when i was alone i reflect back, i realised how dumb i look like doing it and i stopped. Stop caring of what people said. Because at the end of the day, it will be me who will be suffering from being someone else and being far from everything because I know i need a purpose in my life to make me feel happy about myself.

Im so glad that you have posted this video because I have just decided that I'm going to do a 90%/10% of drinking alcohol. I mean that I am going to drink on celebrations like christmas or new year or birthdays but other than that I am not going to.
I have been drinking since I was 18 and purely because other people have told me too and I've felt so uncomfortable by saying I don't want to drink and you've helped me find the confidence to just say no and feel sassy and unafraid to say so.

I'm not the only one😩😂❤️❤️ I didn't like alcohol and I was always the sober one at parties and at the same time I'm the one that dances, and goes up to people the most Hahha😛😂😅 And I also never used to like fizzy drinks Hahha but I did start drinking alcohol 3months ago, at first i didn't like it, but I kind of got used to it and now I drink at nearly every party🙈 but I do it for me! hey Imogen! I don't drink either from choice and I'm constantly being called boring and 'grandma' and its the most frustrating thing because people will throw names around without knowing people. I choose not to drink because I have an alcoholic brother who is constantly in and out of rehab. he is my older brother so I've grown up seeing the damage alcohol can have. and I don't even like the taste of alcohol anyway! this video made me feel so much better so thank you, love you xx
I feel the same. When I drink alcohol I feel sick. It doesn’t agree with my stomach. I have to admit that I do drink alcohol on occasions where I want to fit in as I become more confident and my insecurities go away. However I don’t drink any spirits straight up and it’s soooo annoying when people are like “come on just have a shot” and I’m just like “no honestly I will be sick on you” and they’re “like gooo onnnn come on” and I’m just thinking do they serisoulg not underhand I don’t drink shots for a reason Cos my stomach is just like hell no girl!!

I don't drink alcohol because Allah(GOD) told us not to from the guidance of the Quran. This includes any intoxicant. It's best way for happy life 😊

How crazy is it that I knew you were at the Titanic Hotel in Liverpool just from the lamp and curtains on the thumbnail?! I love this hotel so much, I hope you had a great stay in their stunning hotel! Additionally, I love that you stand strong and live how you want to live your life. A lot of people these days fall for peer pressure in many respects; whether that's doing something they don't want to do, or even NOT doing something they want to do because I doesn't comply with the norms and expectations of society!
I say, go you, and go anyone who puts those expectations to one side and actually LIVES for themselves and not others. From personal experience I understand how difficult it can be in the respect of NOT doing what you want to do because of others!

When I stopped drinking regularly my friends didn't want to go out because it would be "boring" but I don't get where they got that idea from because I'm crazy and I'm always singing and dancing to myself and they judge me for being weird all the time
