How to make Peppercorn Sauce for Steak - From Scratch

Here’s how to make my tasty peppercorn sauce recipe which goes perfectly with steak. It’s made easily from scratch using cream and brandy alcohol.

Ingredients for my how to make peppercorn sauce recipe, from scratch: (enough for 2 steaks):
- 2 Shallots
- 2 tbsp Whole peppercorns
- 40g Butter
- 100ml Double Cream
- 1 Beef stock cube
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 50ml Brandy

What can I substitute with the brandy? I don’t take alcohol. Thank you.

use water or fruit juices corresponding to the flavor of brandy, for instance, white grape juice, apple cider or apple juice, diluted peach, pear or apricot syrups. I usually add apple cider and additionally some hot sauce.
