I don't care about the water level in the tank. It's flushing just fine. But I'm trying to raise it, temporarily, in the BOWL, so I can let the boraxo hang around long enough to dissolve the hard water line. But when I add more water to the bowl it just keeps dropping below the hard water stain line. EDIT: Watched another video, and now see the two water levels are related. Will try this; hope it works on a low-flo system.
Tightening cross tip screw raises the level & loosening the screw lowers the water level. That's all you need to say or show. Right=raise the H2O Left=lowers the H2O. Simple & no need for superfluous added embellishment. Thanks!
Thank you!!
Ty..that fixed my tank from running..omg...I appreciate you..done deal...fixed
Glad to help!
Thank you😮

Why do some "experts" feel they have to pull the adjustment rod away from the valve to adjust it, and then push it back?
Good advice but mine doesn’t have the screw option. It has a little metal rod. Confidante toilet in Canada. Can anyone help me please?
Hi There,
Squeeze the clip and lift or lower along the rod to set the water level. Hope this helps!

The float is all the way up but water still low. How do I raise the plastic pipe holding the float
Adjust the water level either with the screw or clip to allow more water into the tank just below the overflow tube. Hope this helps!
Did not work. Still rises to normal level. I followed instructions and does not work
Hi There,
Check your fill valve, it may need to be replaced.
Maybe your adjustment rod is spining in place. Pull it off from the valve, adjust few turns and push back...see if it made any difference.
He s😊poke too fast 😊when he said tithing right,…. Water still running very very slower over the water level I want it to.
Thank you
