I’m currently braiding one of my twins hair and I can see where I made my mistake. I was adding too thick of a piece of hair when starting off my braid so it was looking like a knot. I’m going to finish her hair today adding in smaller pieces at a time until I get the thickness I’m looking for. Thank you for your videos!! I got two heads to braid this weekend! 😂

Thank you so much for being so detailed Irene. Your work is impeccable😍. I haven't tried knotless before and was wondering if the braids would be longer depending upon how many times I feed in pieces🤔. If yes, I should probably add the same number to each braid for consistency in length right?
I like the size of the braids! I usually do small/medium Knotless on myself but now I want to try large Knotless braids. ❤ you do a great job

so when braiding the hair should i continue to add hair jam on the natural hair as i go or just the top where i would begin braiding? hope my question makes since i'm planning on trying box braids with extensions this time. I've done box braids without the extensions before just not with. i'm a visual learner so i'm pretty sure I understand how to add the hair i just wasn't sure if i should add the hair jam to the natural hair all the way through it.
I like to, it helps keep the hair in place while braiding. It's not a must, I just prefer a sleek look and finish.

Between 4 and 5 packs just be sure I have enough
Putting gel at the root, does that not make the hair itchy?
No. Not Cleaning the braiding can cause itching. Product is needed to perfect clean parts.
Is that gel or edges control
