This version of Yue is absolutely my favorite for sure, they gave her a bit more personality than the original, I think. But my goodness, that wig is horrendous 😂 Just look up the movie version of Yue, her hair looked gorgeously and naturally white there
Kuruk has the saddest ending of all the Avatars. Because of Yangcheng's tendency to favor humans on conflicts with spirits caused the immergence of many corrupted spirits during Kuruk's time. So he had to fight them off, causing him to spend too much time in the spirit world than the physical world and, when he was in the physical world, he would neglect his duties to the four nations so he could have an hedonistic life in order to cope with the pain he endured from his damaged body and corrupted soul. In the end, he died at the age of 33 (the shortest any Avatar had lived), leaving behind a decaying world that descending into chaos during the time his successor was still to be found. The greatest positive impact of his time as the Avatar was on the spirit world, since very few dark spirits immerged, but even that had some consequences, since the more harmless spirits would return to the spirit world, causing to a decrease of spiritual sites on the Air Nomads' territory. But the live-action did changed one thing about Kuruk's story. In the OG version, Ummi lost her face because Koh carried out a punishment against Kuruk due to the latter's arrogant actions in the past. Basically, it was Kuruk's fault that his lover lost her face. Meanwhile, in the live-action, Koh stole her face as revenge against Kuruk for preventing him from crossing over to the physical world.

They definitely gave us a different azula. Originally, we were introduced to her already built up in season 2. Now it seems they’re building her up in book 1, to be built by book two. And I’m all here for it

The actors for Azula, Zhao, Sokka, Iroh, Ozai, Jet and Zuko are the best at playing their characters. Aang, Katara, Suki, Kuruk, Yue, Kyoshi, Roku and Bumi could have more work
The only thing I didn't like was Pakku never actually teaching aang or katara but that more to do with the live action only having a small amount of episodes
Man Azula is pretty much the only one I think is horribly cast. She's just too much of a chubby cheeked baby face to ever be intimidating. Even if she was yeeting fireballs at me in real life I'd be like "aww stop doing that you're gonna burn yourself" and then pinch said chubby cheeks.

Yea all of the wigs in this look so cheap and weird. Not sure how they got the costumes so well but those wigs are a yikes.
