I'm glad to hear some Azula praise. I'm so tired of seeing hate for the actress because she'll apparently not "hot" enough. I'm really looking forward to seeing her in the next two seasons.
considering how character designs in atla often directly portray the personality of a character i do think its fair to say that some characters in a show/ castings visually arent as good as say sokka, ozai, aang, june etc.. (same applies to other live actions like pj) however the audacity and lengths to which a lot of people go to "say their opinions" on someones looks especially for young actors is so insane to me same thing with how most people always just blame the actor/actress for how a character is not accurate or not as good as if there wasnt sth like directors and a script with lines telling you almost exactly what to say and how to say it, where to look, what to do etc etc like with e.g. azula, aang and katara.. thankfully most of the negativity around azula seems to have shifted from looks to writing of the character but similar to aang and katara way too many people still blame the actors rather than writers and directing
I agree with Igli. The live-action's portrayal of Zhao is much more about a sneaky rat who crawled his way into power by exploiting Zuko's impatience regarding the avatar. The cartoon showed a much cockier and direct fire nation general that was blinded by his ego.
Jee had no idea. It was all too easy to get him to take the bait" "So you gave him the false information?" "Yes!" "And he believed it? "Yes!" "And now he told Zuko the false information?" "Yes" "And he will now act on that false information?." "Yes" "Excellent. Our devious plan worked" "That it did, Sir!"
I was confused too lol But I think its not that deep😂I think Yue turns into a fox cause she can only visit the spirit world in her dreams remeber. So I guess, you know how dreams are...vey random and fantastical...she's probably manifested herself as a squirrel before who knows😂 But yeah I dont think she is literally a fox...she just manifests as one; hence her emblem
Now that they have greenlit seasons 2 and 3, I think they'll be finally able to pace everything as neatly as possible. First seasons of series that are adapted from something usually suffers because of the succeeding seasons' uncertainty to be greenlit. That's also why ATLA's spinoff Korra's each season/book feels so contained...
getting the greenlight for the other 2 seasons doesnt fix the pacing at all bc books 2&3 have less stuff you can cut + they have to make up for a bunch of stuff they missed out on in s1 so unless they get more episodes and a budget increase with each season the only thing they can do for s2&3 would be to improve the dialogue/character writing and directing
Laps the movie obviously. I liked it compared to animation. I haven't seen them do anything better per say, but this and ep 8 are very very very good. - Blake
All I have to say is “Apocalypto” sorry Idc I literally try to get anybody to watch that movie and I honestly think you guys would enjoy the not even just the movie but the story and culture.
I think she was told to do it this way. Bad directing and writing. She probably could pull it off with the right script and direction but that's not the portrayal they wanted.
Episode 6 was one of my favorite episodes. Loved the fight scenes and it showed Aang trying understand Zuko and the audience got an understanding of why he is the way he is. To me it was pretty close to the animated episode they took from.

She’s 14 😭😭 so people better stop saying “she’s not skinny or hot”
@@Chincheckflop Right!
She’s amazing as Azusa because she actually looks the age of the character and is even more of a psychopath manipulator. She’s nailing it
@@Arcannabis Yup, I can't wait to see her shine in the next two seasons.

"She's the best written character in this show" YES SHE IS
I’d have to disagree but she is written well

i like this zhao better honestly.
I like both for different reasons. I’d say I prefer this one more, but the cartoon version was much more threatening - Blake
@@brandonjuno Same. In the cartoon he was just a generic, angry villain. Like he was a very 1 dimentional, cliche villain imo

the only foxes in the original series are the ones in wan shi tong's employ.

yall were too mean to blake on the first episode, now he's not giving us his full thoughtsssss
This was the episode I slightly disliked. *the wig has entered the chat*
The actor who plays Katara is definitely trying her best to bring the character to life but her acting is mid.
