Can’t believe more people are not running that pipe. Just installed the new jackpot rtx pipe on a buddy’s 2019 street glide last weekend. Sounds and performs amazingly!
I've been thinking about buying a bike, don't know how to ride but that sound is so damn addictive I'm buying a Harley as when I get back home. Your bike sounds as bad ass as it looks brother!

I dragrace a 12 roadking. Just bought a 21 lowrider S. Can't tune it yet all new models have totally new ECU. (Developers building tuners as we speak). Watching this video and being around racing and built engines etc...all my life. It absolutely amazes me how incredible the M-8 platform really is.
I've seen guys bolt in this very cam with just pipes and an air cleaner on a bone stock engine making 120+hp/130+tq with just doing that alone. Wow. Now...be forwarded friends...the weak link is the primary components. So may want to invest in some upgrades there. Also if you are the one who likes slamming gears after a few beers....well I've seen a bunch of transmissions bail as well.
Not bashing Harley. (Hell I have two of em) just know your weak links. They ARE there, and going beyond these simple bolt In mods....you'll see!!

Saw a few things that raised my brow, but I understand the constraints of shooting a video and presenting your "product" to the public...so I'll let that slide. But... 720pix.... Come on man....upgrade that phone and shoot in 8k or something (giggle snort lol).
Enjoyed the vid. As soon as some tuning availabilities are released, may choose the same cam...much lighter bike (in my case) so not overly concerned about spending 1,200 on a pipe so I have some ideas...lol

Nothin like a cam to wake up a v-twin. I kept my 12 TC and installed a Woods TW222 torque cam last winter. Very happy with the way my bike sounds too. It pulls hard from 1500-4000. The power band is right at around 2500, highway cruising speed.
S&S also has an upgraded cam chain tensioner while you’re in there.

Hi. I've been searching CZcams to find someone with a 475c on an M8. My dealer is telling me that since I'm an "easy" rider that I will actually LOSE torque & power with this cam until I go to high rpm (which I never do). What did you find? Thanks in advance.
Sounds like you might want to go with the 465 cam then.

Sounds great! Probably the best sound you can get from a Cam for the M8 engine. I like the Red Shift 468 and the Woods W8-22XE too.

I haven't experienced any engine problems.. And I seem to get about the same fuel mileage as I did stock. About 250 miles to a tank..

We both have basically the same set up except mine is a street glide special… We are running the same headers and exhaust and my exhaust have the cat deletes… I’m curious if it’s worth the money to go ahead and do the stage two as far as the power difference makes
100% worth it. Night and Day difference. Best thing I've done to my bike.

Sounds good! How does the rtx baffle sound compared to the d&d billet cat on you dads bike with the cams installed? If you were to pick what pipe would you rather go with if you didn’t already have the fuel moto pipe with rtx baffle?

I live in metro Detroit, Michigan so I feel ya, I have 2020 Road glide special, I was thinking of this cam myself just heard 475 is a good 1 all around one to go with, is this something I can install myself, haven't done any work like that before but I'm ok with the tools, I also have the power vision tuner with trask assult cleaner that I'm about to install, so the cams are next
Honestly if you have all of the right tools you should be able to do this, I had a friend help me who has done this before, so it made things easier because he knew what he was doing. But if you follow my other step by step video along side JP cycles YT video, you should be good to go!

sounded better with the revs a little higher imo , too low seems to struggle for that unique sound....Did you gain more low to mid range power ??
When did you tune the bike after the cam install?
Yes, so with Fuel Moto all you have to do is go on their website, tell them what mods you have done to your bike and they will email you a tune based on your setup. They have already dynoed a bike with my same mods so they just sent me that tune. Then I downloaded it to my Power Vision Tuner and then flashed my bike with that. No dyno tune needed! I actually flashed my bike before installing the cam. But you can do it after, just don't start it without the tune in the bike.
How is this 2 to 1 exhaust? Is the clutch side pipe just there for looks?
Yes the left pipe is just a ghost pipe..

I did cams on my 2017 road glide. Decatted stock header , hi flow k&n wedge air cleaner, Rhinehart DBX 4.5 , and had it dyno tuned.
Does your motorcycle run a lil rich? I smell exhaust more since I did the cams.

Theres fairly no vibration on those bikes anymore huh, I do dig the sound. I still have a wideglide with the S&S 583 cam and I love that top fuel sound

So when I did my install, I took it for a test ride and as soon as the engine was under load, oil blew out of all four upper pushrod tubes. Pulled all four upper pushrod tube o-rings and they were all destroyed. Did you have a similar issue?
No, I did not have this issue. Sounds like you added too much oil.. Also, these M8's need to breathe. I recommend buying a vented oil dipstik from A1 cycles. Check out my video on that product!

Way not take the tapped covers off instead of cutting the push rods ? Why depend on 5/16 lock nuts on the rods to hold the engine together?
I did take the tappet covers off... Have to cut the stock push rods in order to remove them without taking off the head since the stock ones aren't adjustable. And because the S&S adjustable push rods are tried and trued and I trust that they will hold up.

Isn’t the 114 water-cooled? That cam box said for oil-cooled. I hope you got the right kit.
Just the full dressers are water cooled. My bike is oil cooled..
How did you black out the bag reflectors ?
Used gloss black 3M vinyl.

The C is for Chain Drive. The G is for Gear Drive.
I have the same bike, I blacked out push rod tubes and tappet covers when I installed my Red Shift 468 cam. Looks great backed out I wish it wasn't so difficult to change the lower rocker box cover that's the only chrome piece left. I have a Fuel Moto tune as well and I ran several auto-tune sessions after install and the buke runs great. I used the stock cam plate and oil pump though. I am getting ready to install a Dark Horse Man O War compensator and a Rekluse Torque clutch so maybe once I get that paid for I will go for the S&S cam plate and oil pump upgrade,

Love the HD bar and Shield tank emblem.....look like its painted on....any specific advice? I have a very similar looking 2018 SGS and just recently learned HD is very territorial with CVO badging.....this seems like a better alternative in my mind as long as it doesn't cost an arm and leg to have it painted on. Yes! Look up Baum customs, they make these tank emblems and the emblems that are on my bags. They are vinyl stickers believe it or not.

I'm guessing an extended warranty would not cover any of these parts and would essentially void their warranty. I also have a 19 RG and my original 2yr warranty is about to expire and am on the fence of purchasing the extended warranty or upgrading as I wish and fix the weak points of the motor..... and advice would be great. No, the extended warranty from Harley will not cover this. I voided my warranty the day I flashed my bike with an aftermarket tuner..
