- Night 1 has been completed and now it's time to explore further on the TW200. This area was completely new to me at the time. The best Adventure is going somewhere new without fully knowing where you are. I ride as far as I can with now gas station nearby. Near the point of no Return I find the perfect place to set up camp. Thanks for watching!

It's 2024 and we're all five years older. Fortunately, your TDub adventures are timeless!! Thank you for sharing them with us.
Love the camera work and editing. The rocks always make me smile.
Missing the beautiful Colorado summer, my TDub and all that open country… can’t wait to get back! Thank you for getting me there!
Its amazing but goes by soo fast! Cmon back!
These are my favorite videos ❤
I certainly live vicariously through your adventures! Thank you so much
Glad to hear! More to come! Thanks
How does this channel not have more subscribers? It’s a fantastic content!
Thanks so much! Maybe 1 day when I make more videos haha
Not me living vicariously through your video's at all! 😂
You're living my dream! Cheers for the video and your awesome enthusiasm.
Those are some great automatons you did of setting up camp! I really like it! That is also a really cool photo with the light!
Best tw200 channel of all CZcams good to see u bud
Thanks! Many more videos to come
Good creativity in your video! Very enjoyable for the sick narrative, funny rocks, night sky scenes, and remote landscapes. Thanks for posting!
😂 those rocks get me every time! @9:45
Cool Tent & campfire trick too!
I miss watching your videos man. It's nice to see you back on the TW 😎
What an adventure! Takes a lot of courage and knowledge to ride off into the wilderness alone.
Great video, brother!
I am planning to do some moto camping too pretty soon on my xt250.
Thanks for sharing✌️
That was a good little run. I put a bigger tank on my TW. I put an IMS on it and it holds 3.6 gallons compared to 1.8 gallons. It's a lot better and I'm surprised you. I put that little rack on the front just above the headlight. I'll give you some more cargo space. That's what I got on mine. It works out good. Good stuff 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
The new IMS tank on procycle is 3.6 gallons which is double the capacity of stock tank and does not require any permanent modifications to tdub. It is also the least janky and doesn't require any zip ties to hold plastics like all the other aftermarket tanks. I can get about 160 miles before hitting the reserve with IMS tank.
Good to know! I may get one afterall since my tank is all bashed up
@@TDubsKid I've also got a 2 gallon rotopax tank so i can go close to 300 miles without stopping for fuel!
also here is another flashlight recommendation for yea, The lumintop mach 4965 puts out about the same amount of light as the Dx80 but it's a bit smaller , has a built in fan for better cooling and it also has a bigger battery (118 watt hours!) . It can also serve as a powerbank to charge your equipment and is PD capable so you can even power 12v gear with it.
You inspired me to start motocamping 6 to 7 years ago. One of the 1st places I took my DRZ400sm(with street tires), was to Dicks Peak, to camp to camp with my brother.
Glad to hear! I need to go ip there still haha
I do routes through there all the time from Breckenridge. Wonderful country
Nice its amazing! Middle of nowhere for sure
Another great video. Been following for years and always enjoy watching another of your adventures! Stay safe!
Thanks so much!
Colorado has the COBDR Clorado Backcountry Discovery Route. It starts at 4 corners and ends at the Wyoming border. Perfect for you to ride dirt one end to the other. That would be a cool series to see.
Yeeaaahh!! Teeduuubz's baaack!
9:44 ... dude, you squashed that rock's face!?
Hey there haha, 😆 looks like I did
On our trip crossing south to north in Idaho, we had a few stretches where it was close to 200 miles or more between fuel stops. We both used the 2 gallon Armadillo bag from Giant Loop. It's one of the best pouring and easy to use and store of any fuel container I've ever used. I'd highly recommend it man. Koty runs the stock tank on his and we definitely had to use it several times. Great looking area up that way man! Also, procycle has the new 3.6g that isn't so pointy up top and most of the fuel is down low. I just put one on and it really fits nice. Might work out for ya.
Thanks bro your videos are great to watch and gives me good vibes come on down to North Carolina and do some most moto camping. here is a total change of scenery.
No problem! Thanks for watching! Im sure its neat down there. Maybe one day
I have the Clarke tank which holds an extra gallon, but does ride a little high. Now IMS makes a larger tank that holds 3.5 gallons and rides a lot lower so your tank bag should work fine. Keep up the great videos.
Great video! Thanks for sharing your adventure!
So glad you started posting again
I always post! Just slowly haha
You've come a long way with your photography and editing. Great job‼👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
I crossed montana on gravel, had less then 200 miles of paved roads in the 1340 mile it took me to cross the state.
Love this kinda content. I have a XR150L and the idea of traveling is so fun sounding. (Reality im sure id be miserable) Living vicariously through you is the best though! Take care.
Only true adventurers would wait 5 years to upload a video. Probably...who knows. But it rocks. I'll be going from greenhorn in the wet mountains to engineer pass in two weeks on my dub. Good luck dubbing lad
For carrying extra fuel id recommend the giant loop armadillo bags
Greetings from western Canada . I'm still riding my TWDub at 73. Took a dump a couple weeks ago and bruised some bones . Taking awhile to heal.
Any way I hope you read my comments.
First, I wonder how many people think those are dirty words to give credit to God for all that beautiful riding country? My sentiments as well.
Have you watched itchy boots and her channel ? You talked about covering Colorado on back roads. I watched her come up from Patagonia to Alaska on back roads she's quite amazing. I think she has a couple different ways for packing extra fuel for her Honda because she is on some of the most remote roads in the world and gasoline is rare. I think I've seen her with those flat tanks (roto tank?) attached to the side of her bike and she has those fold up bladder tanks as well.
I don't recall you ever reviewing progressive fork springs. I have some but don't see much difference. It's a harsh bike to ride on rocks.
Hey there. Sorry to hear that 😢 hope your ok.
Who knows ill just keep expressing the truth
I have heard of here just not a lot of time to watch content. Yeah rotopax seem pretty cool for sure especially in remote areas
You CAN get through that area to County road 59.
Good to know thanks
The light was crazy
Thanks! Haha
Awesome camera work! You need a fishing pole!
Yeay t dubbz .
Hey! 👋
Great stuff!
Thanks!
@TDubsKid our rav4, pop-up camper with tw200 on the back will zip thru colorado springs on Tuesday on our way to buena vista. Buy you In and Out if you are free
Hi could you make a video on bleeding the throttle and clutch cables?
Do you ever foresee yourself becoming "DRZ400Kid" or something? lol
Haha no but I just bought another bike that has 400cc video coming soon
great ride, love camping up in that same area near dicks peak couple neat trails near it and looping around into the back side of salida and the mushroom gulch area. Aspen ridge is in that same area its amazing in the fall with the color changes.
on that black mountain road with the no through access there is a trail (253) that heads south east that loops around that property and drops back into eleven mile. (neat camp sites off of it too)
you were talking about getting across colorado all offroad check out the Colorado bdr its a 7 day mostly offroad ride across colorado. would be a great series to see on the t dub.
Love the video I would love to do this one day. God bless you friend!
Great video. Thumb up!
Thank you very much!
A++
Thanks!
So true but the manual will tell you to use a continuity test and all too often you will go right past the problem. I just explained over the phone how to repair his f150 rear door wiring also at the jam. Soldering and tape works every time.
Nice starlasp! Enjoyed the video! Thought the long exposure photo was cool!
That muffler don’t bother you? lol. I have one in my XT and I’m about to go back to stock, without ear plugs I can’t hang plus I’d rather be more stealthy in the woods, it’s not a Mx race bike after all . You should look into Giant Loop Armadillo bag for fuel, stores alway small when not needed.
The quiet core inserts make a big difference if you don't already have one installed. They have a new RST one that's quieter but $$$.
Your video editing is nice🙂
Thank you so much 🙂
❤
Wes, have you thought about a bigger tank? There are a couple options for the tdubs.
Yeah I do wonder about my MPG range and what the best all per hour is for that xt250 but in direct comparison to the same trails I would imagine I wouldn't do as well as because of there wheels
Cross Colorado on dirt you say? Look up TAT on TW200
I have heard of it
Another great video. Question, what have you done to the suspension to handle the extra weight?
Doesnt' it seem like there is more than enough clearance under the rear fender, that some kind of tank could be tucked into there that was higher than the carb input and could be tied in so the fuel goes from the main tank to the big reserve kind-of below the passenger seat, to the carb?
Watching the TW, jump over the rock in the beginning. Is like a skinny man carrying his fat bride over the threshold. You got it, but.?😬
time to upgrade the fuel tank
Naaa
@@TDubsKid it’s all good - you got it figured out - i wish can get that set up camp app lol I also what to thank you ! your videos are the reason I got back on a TW and I have rigged it out for my rides - the IMS tank is my favourite so far - more smiles per gallon- all the best and keeper rubber side down from us up here in the Great White North - NWT Canada -
Wes, do you have room for a 2 gal rotopax?
What sprocket Cain you running ?
czcams.com/video/eTN9wYcHPWk/video.htmlsi=ll8U_AK01aulRQtJ
Yo I got the Yamaha xt250 The wider wheels is that just tw200 thing or can the xt 250 do that too
Why don't you just get a little rotopax?
Where is that?
Out west of 11 mile lake
@@TDubsKid that’s near where we are going for our September trip. From Canon City through Cripple Creak. Around and up Pikes Peak and then through the mountains to southwest of Denver. 3 day TW camping trip.
