    Now this looks like the recipe I have been looking for . I'm going to try it and see if it compares to oumas rusks. If it does I will never buy it again because it's becoming expensive. I remember when the ouma rusks was so fat and big. Now it's tiny lol. So I'm looking to makenit myself. Thank you for sharing this

      @@NadineDo Hi Nadine. Best rusks recipe ever👍👍👍👍 I took of the rusks to my family. My younger siblings were fighting over it. I clearly made too little. I need to make more batches if I give give my family too. Thanks for sharing. You are amazing. I noticed it doesn't actually matter if the sugar us added to the dry ingredients or to the wet ingredients. It comes out the same to me. However baie dankie Nadine. Of moet ek so tannie🤣🤣👌👌 This rusks is good. I actually won't buy again. I will continue making this.

      I'm really happy they turned out well! Ja, it is always a trouble when there's a lot of people. We also seem to run out of rusks a lot😂

    I've made a hybrid version of this and your first rusk recipe it was great, do you have a condensed milk rusk recipe? I've seen other recipes but if you have one I'd like to try it. Cheers.

    4 cups bran, where do you buy bran from??
    How long do you dry out your rusks? I usually bake in the morning and there's no way I can wait for overnight to dry them out

      You can buy it at any supermarket or health store. It takes about 6 to 8 hours so you can leave it through the day and take it out in the afternoon

      @@NadineDo Thank you, much appreciated. My oven is slightly smaller so I need to try and amend the recipe to fit a 45cm x 33cm pan set. If you have any experience with down sizing, please share :-)

      My Grandma has a smaller oven and still use the same amounts. They just turn out bigger (they rise a bit more)
