He's the perfect Obi-Wan, and I'm happy to have him back.
He's actually nothing like the original Obi-Wan Kenobi, being Sir Alec Guinness. Ewan McGregor is way too high energy and dramatic. Yes, maybe the writing in Episodes I to III did not help his performance, but he always felt like a terrible Obi-Wan. I understand how Alec Guinness got too old and how a different actor had to be Obi-Wan, but the whole replacing thing in the originals just always made me sad. Same applies to the original Anakin.
