tip: in high ranks unless you see the hunter swing a lot always try to get a surprise pallet stun on your second loop cause most of them will just walk through the pallet thinking that you'll keep looping

5:05 How to counter Hunter's Bait (also additional knowledge from another kiting video I found: If you want to pallet stun a hunter, always wait until their feet (Not their body) is in between the pallet then stun. I know not every hunter has feet (geisha) or properly proportioned feet to their body (sculptor). But you will get good at knowing when the pallet's hitbox attacks the hunter's with experience with this method.)

Also the new hunter: Breaking Wheel aka Polun (has blink): in his wheel form, don't even try dropping a pallet, windows will be your best friends. But in his human form, you can try to Pallet Stun Polun, but beware, he might turn into his wheel form after.
I had a friend of mine give up on the game and didn't pick it up again just because it is so hard. I know that IDV is hard, but you should never give up. It's the beauty of it because IDV is a challenge not a Baby's Game. And the idea of getting good and learning to win more and more with experience is the beauty of it. Never give up on the game because you got chaired or loss multiple matches, there will always be a learning curb and one day when you look back at noob hunters who can't catch you, you will have a time of your life. Goodluck everybody on your games and have fun.

I once had painter for a limited trial and I used to put the drawing directly between the pallet so I can hit the hunter when he's/she's done 🗿🖐️

Extra tip for anyone who’s like me and played dbd for ages before idv.
Imagine the hitboxes are worse at palettes and that you can actually get hit through a palette, essentially predropping in idv is actually a really good strat almost every time compared to dbd where 9/10 times if you pre-drop you are considered an idiot
ofc if you managed to palette stun then props to you, but if it just infuriates you too much because you can’t palette drop differently than how you would in dbd then just pre-drop

One thing i learned about feaster is that you can loop the base of the tentacle in order for the tentacle hit to be missed

*Undead:If He Using The Smashing Sword You Guys Run And Dont Go Back To That Same Pallet, You Will Have No Enough Time, And When He Using The Dash Skill, Its More Like Impossible To Hit Him, So Just Stun Him When His Power Is Full*
*Breaking Wheel:You Dont Wanna Stun Him In Wheel Form, Because No Matter What You Do, Shooting Him, Hit Him With Forward, Curse Him, Stun Him With Pallet, It Wont Work, You Gotta Stun Him When He Still In His Normal Form, And When He Stuck At Wall Near Pallet, Dont Drop The Pallet, The Breaking Wheel Can Charge The Wheel Wich Make The Speed Can Destroy The Pallet, And For Trap Its Pretty Hard To Throw In Small Place Or Closed Place Like House Or Circus*
*Mermaid (Forget The Name):You Gotta Be Ready Because She Might Doing The Dash, And When There Was A Water Footsprint, Try Onother Pallet, Because When She Go Trought She Gonna Call Her Trident Wich Will Attack You When You Drop The Pallet [Aka Almost Same As Jake]*

In the video Percy wasn't there (Because Percy wasn't in the game yet) so this will be for Percy.
Percy attacks slow so it's similiar like Mad Eye and Joseph if he is close. Straight forward but be careful of his blink. However he has"Energy Surge" state. A state where he cannot be stunned during his attack and his skill animations. It's almost impossible to stun him if he's in "Energy Surge" state because either you'll be hit during the pallet dropping animation or not hit but either Percy isn't stun because he uses his attack during the "Energy Surge" state. What you gotta do is always drop the pallet right away if he is catching you up (If he is too close then don't drop,just keep running). If he is far away he'll use his dash to hit you. Predict the dash by instead of getting through the pallet,go to the side before you get through or play risky by getting through and be fast to hide behind the pallet (Not recommend). If he uses charged attack on you (Skill),run off from the position then return back in or change pallets depends on situation (If there isn't any nearby pallets then stay but if there is then you can go change but stay is also okay)

as the mind's eye, i like to pass through the pallet (especially in arms factory) then they hit through the pallet, thinking i'm there. then, when they continue chasing me i go back to that pallet and hide behind it. they usually walk through the pallet thinking i'm not gonna throw it down. ;w;

Pallet stuns literally saved a rank match for me: there was two ciphers and people left, due to me getting multiple stuns on the hunter, I was able to get a dungeon escape which gave my team a tie
Actually changing play style with pallets is key since if you stick to a play style and don’t change it your predictable so it’s ok to spam pallets for a change of play style

As SW main most of times I like to make survivors down the pallet then make them either go away or wait for them to vault and get terror shock....one of the great things with sw its the mind game ,not the speed boost ..yes its nice but you can set the survivor to be a puppet and gain advantage with it.
