Hello everyone, this is my first video in trying to explain how to tight kite. There is obviously more forms of kiting, but this is the most advanced style. Every pro player practices this and continues to perfect their craft.

NapS did a good job at saying this is also known as “pallet” looping. Pallet looping, however, is a specific form of tight kiting. Tight kiting is more umbrella term because it’s supposed to embody all forms of kiting (including windows) in a small, confined area. Not all small, confined areas utilize pallets.
For example, going through the two windows in arms factory and looping is also a form of “tight kiting.”
Tight kiting, whether pallet looping, or using windows, is a style of kiting. Many beginners and users just run away and continue running. You need to be patient and have faith in your ability in small areas.
Be careful of a Hunter’s Blink!

I've notice many hunter in your game doesnt destroy pallet right away after you pallet so what do you do if they do it in early game? Rotate to another area? Or use up that area pallet?
Avidus K Good observation. It will depend on the location. And it depends if it’s early game or late game. You can usually loop to another pallet and use that. If they start breaking the pallet it gives you a 1-2s head start of relocating to next area. Early game this is manageable. Late game you’ll need to worry about rocket dash.

I usually wanna survive but if everyone leaves and I have enough time I would sacrifice myself to save you or both of us and if we both die then we both die 🤷🏾♀️
I genuinely don't understand why people leave if they are the only one not chaired (unless its rank) because in the end there's nothing left and everyone is gone not to mention you are taking a loss without trying to fight back 💀
I normally just try to sacrifice myself done it before all 4 were alive minds eye was chased by hastur with detention n gate was open n very close i ran away from gate to body block for helena since i didnt have owl n hunter stared at me then surrendered lmao
i only do the sacrifice when two survivors left because a tie is guaranteed
Ping prevents me from kiting and juking...
Same, my ping ranges from 299 to 999. Usually comes in as lag spikes when the hunter is near and the only way to lower it is to stay still which sucks.

@@valienated5041 It depends where he is playing from. Game only seems to have NA servers (even for EU users). Playing from Africa myself and ping is 290-300 steady with a 40mbs line.

I once kited as a COWBOY against a Geisha...for the entire game.
NO JOKE! This hunter was targeting me, if they were a little smarter, they should have left me and focused on the others decoding!
I got caught once, was put on the rocket chair, my friends rescued me, and I kited the hunter the remainder of the game. 😂😂😂

Kited against a geisha using explorer... It was funny how the hunter keeps trying to dash only to find that I can't be targeted for a few moments before having to see me vault into a window.
Respect, I did the same thing the whole match as the minds eye, staying literally in the same like five barrels and two pallets before she got me.

I use this a lot since it’s common sense lol but I’m more of the “wait behind the edge of the pallet, stun the hunter, and flashlight stun then move on to the next pallet or vault” type of player. By the time you stun them two or three times they might give up on you or one-three ciphers are already down. But then again, they’re those hunters who catch you when the exit gate activates then face camps the heck out of you LOLz

At that point, if they’re smart, they already start to move somewhere else. Then the mind game starts and the pallets set down. Sooner or later the hunter will have to destroy the pallet and the survivor moves onto the next. This can happen for a while before they go down tho lol I would know since I main both
Alex D. yea i main both as well. idk i always find it really easy to deal with someone who wants to try and loop the same pallet over and over. and of course if theyre already hurt then theyre wasting time because ill just blink next to them for the free hit lol
Lol I usually destroy pallets as they go down. Usually it’s better to bait them into putting it down and most survivors don’t hold out long ;) its the fun part of having Confined Spaces. Someone tried to do the DBD window juke on me when I vaulted the window but they couldn’t vault it RIP I wish I could’ve seen their face 🤣🤣🤣

I followed your advices using the Thief and kiting in this map with the Geisha and they gave up later on! It was really helpful xD I use the Thief more often now :'D

Do you know if they are making any new servers or fixing the ping? Making this kiting is really hard with 200 ms, always i get stucked towards a wall or obstacle and get hit...i hate it.

Look at the positive side, with that kind of ping (200 and above) you can also get blink just like the hunters lol

CZcams recommended this vid to me again after 2-3 years. It's been at least a year since I've stopped playing competitively, but it's still cool to realize that the reason why I'm never too rusty against Geishas is because of this video, and experience. I might just copy the link over to a struggling friend. I remember I used to treat JohnZhao, BlueRaceCar, Perswayable and iAlien as the gospel truth... good old days.

I bought seer and ye decided to practice kiting with it- well I can't learn it correctly cuz there are hunters I hate (actually like hard to kite) such as gamekeeper cuz it can pull u even you can go through walls, Shark dud cuz he literally can throw puppets- literally blocking me from saving someone cuz it minus my health when it hits me. UgHh in my opinion, Geisha seems to be that kind that are easy to kite.
I essentially did this in a 2v8 and I felt really proud of that since they were like 40 levels higher than me : D I tanked a hit then healed up when the geisha was stunned as a Nurse then I stunned her again and got a speed boost and escaped in the dungeon
I can feel how satisfied that geisha is. :v

Your timing may be a little off, takes practice though I suck at it too.
Usually Im pretty good kiting with the Priestess. Shes not too fast or too slow to me. Also in the factory I like to use the “factory loop” as my friends call it. Its the windows that are to the left of the two open doors and straight ahead to the back. With the constant vaulting the survivor and hunter are in a loop at the same speed and with the Priestess you can still get through in case the windows are boarded up or if the hunter catches up with the portal.
Wtf this is super helpful it worked on my first attempt!!! But the funny thing is that the noob hunters are not blind hitting
How to not lagging my ping is always yellow and red
Yeah, It's annoying! Same for me usually play every multiplayer game on European Server and it's always 45-67 ping! Whether It's PC or Android/iOS. This game only gives me 140-180 ping on EU-NA and It's frustrating...literally! When I try to escape hunter I always get stuck in back and forth animation at the edge of walls because of this. Hope they fix it

I know the pain, even on 140-170 sometimes even 200+ It's really hard to escape hunter because of back and forth animations at the edge of walls caused by bad ping is really annoying! I can only imagine how hard it is on 400+! I really wish they do something. I know people from NA player ons table 60+ It's only with EU people like me, I'm from Western EU and ping is really unbearable, if only they added separate EU and NA servers, but then playerbase would be lower

idk how often you check comments and this is a bit of an older video, but this was so helpful, i came here off of your perfumer video!! i'm really new to the game (not even a month yet) but i found kiting very fun and wanted to get better at it... i play with more experienced friends so i want to be more useful during our matches! i just also found it really funny that i'd never seen your videos before, but IMMEDIATELY felt like you got me once i heard you use juke/juke-ing (on instinct i go "JUKED! JUKED!!" when playing haha)

I dont get this Perswayable, what do we do when we loop for 1 round then, when the hunter is close you put down the pallet but it attacks blindly, even if you dont place down the pallets it would still hit you?

can you explain how magician is a decent character
For me magician is great to get away from hunter with. I usually chill decoding with him and if i hear hunter coming i use his skill and run away. That way my clone or whatever is still decoding and most hunters just hit him while i'm already running from that place. That's why i think he is pretty good but of course, i'm not a pro.

No vault debuff, no decoding debuff, rescue debuff doesn't really matter because top tier players rarely get chaired, Wand illusion body blocks Clown Dash.

Hey persway, im wondering what's the purpose of the jar with a hand that comes out from it with a creepy sound. Does it mean something or is it just a decoration?

I think that is for the hunter to know if the survivor already passed that area, I dont know if that will help the hunter though.
if hunter use listen and your near the jar it does not matter if you are standing or not doing anything he can see you but i guess no high tier use listen so thats waste

Tip:if the smiley (clown) is charging toward you don't run in a straight line and instead find somewhere with a lot of blockage if you can't find something like that you can also try zig zagging instead of running in a straight line (this zig zag method doesn't work sometimes it's only a 2nd hand thing to do if there's no blockage)
Can you show us some kiting with decoders? Specifically explorer... He’s great at hiding but once he’s been found-
just follow his advice, play explorer/lawyer/prisoner

Juts thinking of that one time, I annoyed a geisha so much they teleported away, and eventually came back to me but when they finally did hit me (they had detention), they just dropped and picked me up again so I could struggle free cuz they gave up
When i see survivors like this i ignore them and get the others cuz i know he will come to help them and i can hit him 😉

Lol, not the Geisha bragging that she got him lmao. But hey, this really help me out! There's always the urgency in kiting and transitioning constantly because I know I'm not the only one nervous about tight kiting and prefers just being ahead of the Hunter. I try not being too predictable, so I hate throwing down pallets if they're close enough to hit me. I was always annoyed getting hit while dropping a pallet and could never figure how exactly to avoid it besides not dropping it, but even then they'd catch up, and hit me. Very frustrating, but this taught me patience at least

I love it when hunters brag about getting someone. Once I kited geisha as thief for all five ciphers. She hit me once at the beginning. Anyways I was going for the exit gate where my coordinator teammate was. She still had her flare and the geisha finally got me. Instead of saving me my teammate left immediately. Geisha didn’t even have detention. She later bragged about killing me but I just laughed.

As killer I almost always swing through the pallet because most people do not expect it and I get a free hit so I don’t really care about getting stunned.
As survivor I like to wait at the pallet and I run away once they get close so they either respect and I get a lot of distance and they waste time or they disrespect and they swing through but I run away in time and they wiff their swing.
