- Carl Burton Stokes, a veteran, politician & ambassador. Carl was the first black mayor ever elected in a major US City, serving from 1967-71. After his time as mayor, Stokes became the first black news anchor in New York and eventually would work as an ambassador under the Clinton administration. Carl Stokes appeared on What's My Line in 1970, enjoy getting to know Ambassador Carl Stokes as we continue to celebrate #BlackHistoryMonth on BUZZR.

This was a packed filled episode with really good people although until now, I've never heard of any of them.
