  • Watch Eileen Heckart do her best to hide her identity!
    Eileen's career spanned nearly 60 years. Known best for her first role in 1953 cast of William Inge's play Picnic On Broadway.
    Check out her appearance in this 1973 What's My Line episode where she gives this celebrity panel a run for their money! But that Academy Award question really sealed the deal!

    I'd venture Ms. Heckart is possibly best remembered for her phenomenal, Oscar-nominated and Golden Globe-winning performance as the distraught Mrs. Daigle in 1956's "The Bad Seed."

    was this a syndicated episode or on cbs?

    • @RonGerstein
      @RonGerstein Před 7 měsíci

      If it was syndicated, it cannot be on the CBS television network. Individual television stations would buy syndicated programs and broadcast any time they choose.

      All "What's My Line" episodes from 1968 to 1975 were done 5 days a week on a syndicated basis.
      The original episodes were 1950 to 1967 and were broadcast once a week on Sunday night, usually live from New York City, on the CBS Telivision Network.
