Actually this could not have been taped Feb. 19th, '72 because she married John Astin (Gomez Addams) on Aug. 5th, 1972. Since she said they'd been married 3 months that makes this taping around Nov. '72. The actual airdate was Dec. 13th, 1972, so there
@@Heres_Johnny.I concur to a degree but after Valley Of The Dolls she was almost put on the back burner for awhile and then almost completely dismissed near the end when she should have been regularly hailed up to today as one of the best of all time! To play the incomparable Helen Keller, then to play identical twin cousins, then to go straight from that into such a nuanced and true to life portrayal of a character (Neely O'Hara), I myself am in complete reverence of her chameleon like ease and how many artists probably have been influenced by her! I had to find out for myself about her life because other than seeing The Patty Duke Show in syndication growing up, I had no idea of her remarkable talent and resilience because she always imbued that work ethic/principle instilled into her to make it seem seamless. She is the pinnacle in my book, is Hollywood royalty and should be remembered as a trailblazer in the craft of acting as well as in destigmatizing mental health issues and beyond all t,hat just being one of the loveliest and most gorgeous human beings to ever grace our screens! ❤🙌👑
RIP patty, someone should show respect on how wonderful you were and extremely talented and beautiful as well PERIOD!!!!!

Patty Duke. Very attractive woman in her younger years and later in life as well.
Sadly missed, what a beautiful lady and talented and beautiful as well!!!!!
2:32 This woman's hair is spectacular!
Must've been a cold day for Patty to be rugged up that much !
Panelist Sherrye Henry was among other things a stable mate of Arlene Francis on WOL talk radio in NYC. Francis looks amazing to be about 65 here .
She was born in 1909
Patty Duke was very under rated.
Why would you say that? She was an Oscar Winner, an Emmy winner, and a Golden Globe Winner. Quite a bit of recognition.
@@Heres_Johnny. Yes. Patty was almost legendary.
