- Aqib Talib joins Stan Verrett to talk about the Los Angeles Rams, playing for a coach his age in Sean McVay, seeing Michael Crabtree at a go-kart track, and more. Talib then (2:52) answers some rapid-fire questions, including: toughest WR to cover now (Antonio Brown), toughest WR to cover ever (Calvin Johnson), fastest WR he's ever covered (DeSean Jackson), WR with the best hands (DeAndre Hopkins), QB who makes him think the most (Tom Brady), QB who's most dangerous after a broken down play (Russell Wilson), and QB he most wants to pick off who he hasn't yet.

This may be the best interview sports center has ever done. Interesting questions and talib gave good quick answers. Good job both
Hale Samuelson i said the same thing. Best interview I’ve seen on ESPN. And I think much differently from Talib now, seems like a pretty cool dude.
Michael Greenwood u right good interview , good answers , but na he still a punk , very talented , hes good but his character is weak and insecure . Which is weak Bc he has talent . He not chill . Call him chill when he shows discipline in the heat of the moment 👍
Seems as if he's matured a lot but he's gonna be the same on the field.
you mean you dont like stephen a smith yelling his nonsensical point into your ears?
Wow, this is a pretty standard and pretty boring interview. So ESPN must suck big time.
Calvin Johnson was a machine every corner that ever covered him said he was most difficult WR to ever cover especially 1on1.
Nigga you play Madden too much...
*Jerry Rice is the GOAT... Period.*
Quis 1on1 nigga what about Richard Sherman that nigga locked his ass up fo
Denzel 'My Niqqa' Washington why you acting like he said Dion branch or something
@@timpetrov6726 Sherman never locked anything down Earl Thomas was his security blanket lets be real. Earl Thomas is a great safety that bring tremendous safety help for his corners.
@@rawswisher43 Also Sherman had Earl Thomas for great safety help. Revis was a real lockdown corner so was Champ Bailey and Woodson. Earl Thomas made Sherman and Maxwell shine in Seattle.
Never really liked Aqib an awful lot but he seems like a chill dude. Definitely changes my perspective on the man. Great interview.
Everyone is different when they step in between those white lines.
Everyone shows their best self on TV..
Football is a dawg sport. Have you ever played? Don’t sound like it
T SMACKS facts talib would help your grandma carry her grocery’s but when he gets on that turf he has dog in his heart he don’t feel sorry for nobody out there.
Lil PressedRoxi30s bra exactly. Ain’t no buddy buddy on the turf. Frfr
One of the most underrated cbs of all time. 134 games started, 125 pass deflections, 35 interceptions, 10 tds, 5 force fumbles. HOF worthy 🐐
Hall of Very Good. Talib is stuck in that category.
@@ricksprings what bout Steve Smith
love the questions asked, wonderful job sports center
Na that was funny too
marco ordonez 😂 😂 😂
Anthony Shepherd Hell nah that shit was LEGENDARY
Making sly remarks trying to get a reaction out of somebody is weak
Agreed . Nice job SC
Megatron was unstoppable, if only he was drafted by a competent organization
Lions drafted two all time greats at their position in Megatron and Barry Sanders, and their careers were basically ruined by bad management.
Todd Gurley SZN for sure, i’m a Lions fan and even I see their potential was wasted
FireeStyle Yeah that’s why I have a lot of respect for Lions fans, they still support their team despite the bad decisions made by incompetent management. Hope y’all can continue to turn it around in the future!
He retired before Patriots could get him I remember they where working that deal and he retired
Thumbs up from a Detroit native. Horrible organization
Nice to see my man talib put some respek on Calvin Johnson’s name.
Respect?
Ryan noooo, respek which is a whole different thing
He didn’t get the nickname Megatron for no reason 😂 dude was a all time great in my opinion but my boy kam got the best of him 🤷🏻♂️
CloutSteezo wanna know who was the only CB in the league to actually shut him down? Revis Island, and before you just answer back go and check his stats, literally the only one to do it successfully which speaks volumes of Megatron’s dominance
I was going to type a comment, but I read yours and totally forgot what I was going to say.. I have googled and even searched Webster’s for the word “respek”, and I literally can’t find a thing on it. Wtf does respek mean?
Megatron went overlooked bc he retired early and played in Detorit. He's arguably the most talented WR to ever play. Size, speed, hands, incredible jump etc. Just the way he played was amazing. Throw him the ball and let him get it..
No one overlooked Calvin Johnson… He was double and often TRIPLE teamed… No receiver has been schemed against so highly whilst simultaneously taking 3/4 players out of any given play.
Not more talented thatn randy
@@ry69scott Incorrect. It was the same way with Moss.

You know Calvin Johnson kept some corners up at night before the game, one of the greats! Go Lions!
@Larry Ratliffe
Lions fan here. Calvin and Barry Sanders are literally the only good things we’ve ever had.
@A A LMAO WHAT??
A A lions wouldn’t let go Barry and Calvin’s contracts when they wanted to get traded they tired of being the back none of the team .
Barry Sanders was the only Good player on the team with a bad o line he has to carry them . Calvin tired of losing and kissing the playoffs so he wanted to leave but had to retire to get out of there cuz he can’t leave
@A A I agree he is the best QB that Detroit ever had but he is not great at all
A A eh
I like how he said he grew in to a Professional when he went to New England. Much respect. He became Humble and Matured himself
Awesome questions! Aqib sounds a lil more humble and relaxed, great job for that reporter as well.
Thats what getting older does to ya. He wasn't like that seven years ago.
He talks almost exactly like Nipsey Hussle. But yeah, he sounds like he actually matured so that's great
