Here is Caleb Chapman's Crescent Super Band performing Stevie Wonder's "For Once In My Life" featuring Talon Cardon on vocals. Video by Russ Mayo.

I'm a Brit so i don't know much about this group! All i know from watching this is the singer has an ace voice, The band was spot on (So great to see intelligent kids funneling their energy into great music) The sax solo was perfect but the highlight for me was the bass player jiving her norks off! 😂 Bless her 👍
I would add tamborines & a Gospel organ, but these young ones are just way beyond amazing! What voice, what heavenly sound, what talent!
This is an excellent version of one of the most joyous songs ever written. What a shame it was witnessed by such a small audience. However, thank God for the power of CZcams which has enabled more people to enjoy it!

The singer is great. Still innocent having a giant smartphone in his pants pocket while performing. The bass player rocked. The sax performance was energetic. And how I love how elated she was after performing that solo.
The rest of 'the crew' is equally amazing.

Talon made this very difficult look easy…his upper band is very impressive.
This is an amazing arrangement with stellar musicians all around. I wish the sax would have hit the high note at the end of her solo on this song though, and the vocalist shouldn't be afraid to explore the top of his range I think. But wow, where'd these guys come from ?1 ❤❤ I want to hear more from this great lineup !

The drummer is fantastic, energetic, kept the tempo going and also the Brass that is blown by the youngsters kept our toes tapping. Thoroughly enjoyed this joyful band. Wish this young band had more toe-tapping videos for us.

Who did the arrangement?
Great performance, but who edited the footage? It is WAY out of sync most of the time. You can tell by watching the drummer and other band members playing something that isn't heard, or vice-versa. I know it's not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things, but I like to watch live performances so that I can see the artists actually playing their instruments live, not a hodge-podge of random shots that don't match the music.
Too bad the sound doesn't match the video...otherwise it's perfect . bravo
