What's happening people so in this video we have here a Mercedes E63s AMG W221 in for our stage 2 package (B750), which in basic terms means going from 600 bhp straight to circa 750 bhp. A massive gain and this is done by installing downpipes and then custom tuning the vehicle via the ECU to unlock more power.
As requested by the customer we also opted in the following rev limiter removal, enhanced crackle and pops on sports plus mode, safe to say this beast is completely transformed now!

A local shop does Renntech as well as "Racechip" ecu tunes, do you have any familiarity with these and would a stage 2 tune from either work?

Should I consider and ASR exhaust valve control as well as I did on my 2018?
Yes bro as it’s the same identical setup anyway, but it’s quieter due to the OPF filter

How did you do the install on the white E63? You never showed that part. Did you have to drop the transmission?
Yes same thing for any E63 or C63, the only was to avoid dropping gearbox is cut off the stock pipes off and insert downpipes

how does this car compare to the Audi RS6 you had ?
This is savage compared to it, to be fair that RS6 is an older gen car this is all new tech and the way the all wheel drive is set up and how it puts its power down is a madness

Yes it’s very accurate as it’s real time data on the road compared to a dyno, traction temps air etc
Namz, do you have in house custom tuning? You should get or do dyno runs or draggy times to prove your tuning

Solid content but the reflections in the dash ain't doing you any favours. Probably best to buy a camera you can mount onto the dash.
I may alone in this, but subtly for exhaust pops is best. Otherwise it sounds like a riced out civic.

you forgot to censor your plates when installing the pipes
You only have to cut the factory down pipes in half and remove top and bottom no need to pull the gear box

Removed the stock downpipes from my R231 SL63 and installed Weistec cat delete down pipes. Amazing sound, huge power and torque increase.
Biggest mistake I could ever make! My eyes are watering from the exhaust fumes, it’s absolutely terrible! Without the catalytic converters, you just cannot live with a big V8.
Reverted to stock. £5K lost in the process.
Definitely seems like you had some sort of fume leak in to the cabin, iv owned a few tuned V8’s and modded loads and have never experienced that!
@@NamzBoost the SL63 is a roadster, I’m driving it with the top down most of the times.
Anyway, my car went from a lovely, refined GT, to an anti-social monster. Not worth it.
Never go catless. Sports cats is the answer wont get the issues you had & passes mot unlike the decat
go with a high flow cat. it flows nearly as well as a decat and has minimal powerloss. all without the smell
@@zoob4371 went back to stock for a while, but I already ordered a full Capristo exhaust with 200 cell cats. Will fit that sometime this summer, although I appreciate the genuine stock exhaust more and more. Before receiving the stock exhaust, I have refurbished the headers at Zircotec and the rest of the exhaust with Cerakote.
I’d still rather have a G30 M5. What sort of power could you get out of one of them?
Around 800 bhp displacement is bigger being a 4.4 so naturally will make more power
That M5 has a pathetic sounding engine to be honest
If you look online you see people have pushed the c63s and e63s much further, some even exceeding 1300bhp
