    Welcome to my life, where everything is hard and nothing ever works. 😑

      at least you're not the kind of idiot that you cannot explain to that he's an idiot because he's an idiot. 😼👌
      that Trans-Am needs to do a swissey cannonball run with all the nifty tunnels, sinewy mountains passes and cops chasing the participants straight to Süd Tyrol while eating good chocolate! 😉👍

    That keyless remote is really cool! It would have been only a dream in the 80's LOL I have the same key machine I saw it in the background and I also have one of those "momo " wheels, though I never mounted it.
    The incredibly vague steering was just how they were normally, no matter the tires. I actually put larger "gatorback" tires from a vette on mine for a while, it made the steering worse😮. Good stuff!

    Mario, somewhere there's a retired Pontiac engineer that would be displeased with you! The steering wheel nut is probably a ¾inch size lol. "We didn't use the goddamn metric system!" 19mm is basically the same size though. I wonder if you've come across any ¼inch head bolts during your interior work that aren't quite 7mm but 6mm won't fit? The 80s and 90s were a weird time for usa manufacturers. My friend's unmodified 95 jeep has metric bolts on the transmission (japanese) and parts of the body, and imperial bolts on the axles+drive line and engine and bits of the interior... what a machine!

    glad to see another video out, Mario. I was just wondering about it. about the oily hands - I always use gloves when working on my cars, why don't you?

    That's funny. Those Pioneer 3 ways look exactally like they did back in the 90s

      I guess the market has shrunk so much since then that it's not profitable to produce new model.

    How did you fit the double-DIN in there? Where did you get the bezel?

    • @swisscarguy
      @swisscarguy  Před rokem +1

      Bezel is 3D printed. The radio is not a full double din. It's actually a single din with a double din front. That way it takes up less space in the back and I only needed minor modifications to the pod.
