AN (ARTSY?) PISMO BEACH TRAVEL VLOG | Coastal Trip + Decorating Beach-Themed Coasters

- I am really excited to share today's video with you guys because for once, we are not only at The Desk Corner! In fact, I take you guys along with me a bit on my travels! Thank goodness we got away from my desk for once. It gets kind of lonely there.
My trip was to Pismo Beach and the surrounding areas of SLO county in the central coast of California. Being from southern California (which is a good 4/5 hours away as it is such a long state), central coast has a different vibe and is a really fun spot to visit. I love the coastal views, marine life and seafood that this particular area of California offers. The main reason for my trip was to visit with my family, who I kept out of my vlog but I was obviously spending the majority of my time with them, hence why I didn't have time for artwork after all!
I am taking you guys along with me partly so that you can also see some of the spots where I took photos to be used later as reference photos for artwork in part 2 (next week's video)! Of course, I had to make this video somehow art-related and I was itching to do something artsy after my trip, so I decided to decorate some plain wooden drink coasters with my Artistro Acrylic Paint Markers! And I'm sure you can guess the theme! I hope you enjoy today's vlog!

I should be working but I just had to watch your video immediately! It's so funny, Nick and I were just talking a few days ago about driving that California coastal road as a trip we want to do. Adding Morro Bay to the list, lol! It looks like you visited some really pretty places - love the seagull shot! I'm glad you got to see your family and have a holiday, I hope it has refreshed you. Aww that little coin purse and octopus are adorable! I never get much art done on trips either, but it is always a great opportunity to take reference photos for future artworks. So many cool art ideas on your trip. Besides the ones you painted, I really like the rooster and the misty harbor rock. Ah, the harbor rock would have been perfect for a painting if only a little sun came through.
I really like the rooster too, I think I will do an artwork of a rooster too for fall even if it’s not that specific rooster😆 the sun never comes through over at Morro Bay and especially near the rock. It’s like the movie The fog

Ooooo I love this style of video, The area you went too reminds me of Santa Barbara kinda (the one with the rooster running 😂).
