I have a 2018 S6 that I bought new. Great car but know maintenance is steep. For example, just replaced brake pads and rotors (they last about 35K miles) for the second time. Over $4K. I like the last generation interior better without the excessive use of screens, and of course the V8.
You took it to a dealership ain’t no way you’re paying 4k for brakes…you’re allowing yourself to get robbed lol. Find yourself a private mechanic that specializes in German. Don’t fork out 4k bro wtf lol
S6 easy win in looks vs. the S8. S8 wipes the floor in performance vs. the S6. I think I would go with the S6 if I was buying. And that’s coming from a guy who has owned an S8 and currently owns an A8L.
Woaahhh 90 grand is absolutely too much for this car. Same ball park as an LC500. Different type of cars I know but you can get much more exotic and appealing f cars for that price
Don't like the black grille. Should have made the wheels in black. Like the red stitching. I don't like shiny black plastic because it shows fingerprints and scratches. I will take the Cadillac LTS
I thought the 6 model was a wagon. I guess they got to variance.. the wagon is definitely better probably the best wagon on the market, but when it comes to four-door, Audi sedans the7 is the best one
The A6/S6 is Audi's best looking sedan, with near perfect proportions. The A8 looks terrible and screams FWD and the A4 is just forgettable. This car most certainly does not launch as hard as the S8.

Is it still have the turbo lag? Been debating the S7 and RS7 due to that, i dont need 500 plus hp but if the S series still have the turbo lag issue, im springing for the RS!
Everything is wonderful, etc... BUT, the last row of seats, the middle seat, is not compatible even for children, let alone an adult! Unbelievable considering how much the car costs! Shame honestly!

Took my 2013 S6 to a third party VW/Audi mechanic. Front brakes including labor was $2,600 about a year ago. Parts alone were about 1400ish…

Auto vs dynamic auto is going to adapt to your driving style. I have the A8L chauffeur package with refrigerator I love this car

no turbo lag, the electronic super charger spools air into the turbos.
Still waiting for them to come out with some thing that I like better than my 2016 A6 Super Charge.

S6 is a good car but bmw m550i xdrive and mercedes amg e53 is better than this.
But no more M550 V8 tho for the new gen sadly
