Triplet vs drag on low G ukulele

  • Explanation (in Czech) of the difference between the triplet (three notes with the FIRST note on the beat) and the drag (three notes with the LAST note on on the beat).
    In the chord sequence C, Am, Dm, G7 I show the drag leading to the 1st beat and the triplet starting from the 3rd beat.
    I play with standard banjo fingerpicks on my thumb, index and middle + the reversed one at the ring finger nail. It means I may only use one stroke direction with each of my finger.
    My way of playing triplet enriching the regular down-up strokes by my thumb and index finger is by inserting the ring finger inbetween. The result is the TRI sequence (thumbpick downstroke on the beat, ring fingernailpick downstroke by flicking the finger out of the palm, index fingerpick upstroke).
    I play the drag with the IMT sequence (index fingerpick upstroke, middle fingerpick upstroke, thumbpick downstroke on the beat).
