Emilia is truly a dragon for surviving what she went through
Isn't she!! One aneurysm alone would have most ppl quit, and she endured that and then some.
And it makes it more tragic, what she endure just so her character could be butcherd like that
I have the utmost respect for Emilia Clarke, and I'm so glad she's still here. She is a walking, talking, smiling, radiant miracle.
Helen Mirren is such a queen, I love how she didn't let on that her pinky finger was broken out of compassion for stunt performers.
*little finger. As in pinky. That's why she was holding up her hands and showing that one was crooked.
Credit to those actors, I hope people like them will inspire, and influence other actors to persist through difficult things during shooting movies.
the number 10th is my favourite. The Fugitive is one of my favourite 90s movies.
Health is more important than careers
I'm sorry to hear these actors hid thier injuries, while keeping doing their jobs.
I know it’s not an injury, but Chadwick Boseman kept his cancer a secret for years until he passed away from it
Emilia Clarke was perfect.
It's a tragedy for all she endure, just to have her character be butcherd like that
Leonardo DiCaprio when he did Django Unchained. His hand bleeding was for real. I didn't know that until Kerry Washington confirmed it in an interview.
That was actually the first example I thought of, you definitely read my mind! 🔮
That's why the girl was so freaked out. He smeared actual blood all over her face. By surprise! 😂
I can see why Quentin Tarantino despised Calvin Candy.
There’s also Leonardo DiCaprio in Django Unchained. The scene where he smashes a glass and cuts his hand was completely improvised by him which means the blood you see on his hand is real!
Ruby Rose got injured while filming the first season of Batwoman and she kept then again she did leave the show afterwards
Happy saturday afternoon, Phoebe, and what a great top this was. Take care and God bless you, greetings from Colombia to you as well.
Elisabeth sladen did it in Doctor Who and that episode with rose she had a broken leg but didn't tell anyone and did her best to swallow the pain cuz she was afraid they would send her home real trooper and that was a real good episode
Very very great epic list I like it a lot very very great job mis mojo one of my absolute favorite list ever 😊❤
Hope for an eventual part 2 please?
Jason Momoa was one of hte people looking out for Emilia Clarke on set.
As for other people who took injury and kept quiet: In Hurt Locker, there's a scene (slight spoilers) where Jeremy Renner's character has to carry a child's body downstairs, and he'd injured his leg, and had to carry the child and somehow manage not to limp while doing it. He's also done that another time in his movie Tag, he did a stunt himself involving some chairs that ended with him breaking both arms, and he just worked through it. (He ended up having to wear specialized splints/arm covers for his Avengers filming almost immediately after it, but they actually knew about it)
Viggo Mortensen breaking his toes?
Sara Hyland- Modern Family
I can't imagine Ben not being in Westworld, he was perfect!
A lot of actors hid illnesses to keep their jobs too. Case in point, Jeff Cohen who played Chunk on The Goonies had chickenpox on the day of his audition, which happened to be his infamous “truffle shuffle” scene, but he didn’t tell anyone because he was afraid he wouldn’t get the job. Fortunately his chickenpox was hardly noticeable (you’d have to zoom in in order to see it) and he got the job
No offense, but why isn't the late Ricardo Montalban brought up in this video? Mr. Montalban, God rest his soul, was injured in a horseback riding accident while making the 1951 movie "Across the Wide Missouri." The accident messed up his spine, and he had trouble walking afterwards. However, Ricardo had an important contract with MGM at the time. He was afraid of being let go, so he resumed working on the film in a matter of days. The accident in question was a LIFE-CHANGING event for Mr. Montalban. He was never quite the same afterwards. Keep in mind that the accident happened in the early 1950s.
Ruby Rose?
😮😨
Injuries are covered in their salaries!
