All of them
Drew Barrymore and demi lovato also Lindsay lohan
Knowing that they not only had addictions problems but struggling with mental health problems, I have major respect for them being honest about their experiences and wanting to help others who are struggling with as well.
She goes by she/her. And well, she was always a she.
Atop of Macalauy Culken’s career resurgence, he appears to be happy to be a husband and father. His expression of gratitude for his family at the Hollywood Walk of Fame is wonderful.
I applaud every victim that makes it through abuse & addiction.
These entertainers deserve a lot of credit for their efforts to overcome their addiction.
I think the worst part is constantly being harassed by the paparazzi! 😢
This is sad what child actors had to go through. If you look back at early child stars during the early days of Hollywood like: Jackie Coogan, Judy Garland, Elizabeth Taylor, and other child actors of the Golden Age of Hollywood, these stars had mental health issues as they reached adulthood. From watching documentaries about child stars being a:&sed on and off the set, and telling their stories, has helped so many child stars today...
I think we can all agree that Demi Lovato is an icon of sorts for Mental Health Awareness, considering she’s on Top #1 in almost all Watch/MsMojo.
Agreed!
Todd Bridges. He talked about his battles with addiction after he was molested as a child and dealt with an abusive alcoholic father. His mom believed him as she was also sexually abused as a child.
Poor Todd, it's heartbreaking that all of the young cast from "Different Strokes", including Gary Coleman and Dana Plato, died young.
@@trinaq Todd is the only surviving member. The saddest part of Todd's dealing with that trauma was that the man who molested him was his dad’s best friend and that his dad believed his friend over his son. As I mentioned earlier, his mom believed him as she was also sexually abused as a child and she made a vow that if her children were in a similar situation, she would believe them.
As a former swimming competitor, I am so proud of those now opening up about their struggles from their past experiences that even I have been through some of them myself back when I was well-known. Mental health and well-being should be taken seriously just like everything else as well.
I think one of the biggest issues of being child star is not the fact that you want to act but the people you might be put around while your acting
I really applaud these celebrities for opening up about their addiction struggles, which stemmed from them being thrust in the limelight at young ages. Thankfully, many of them appear to be thriving nowadays, and are sober.
Not just that, but also the abuse from the parents.
Almost everything can be blamed on corrupt businesses and poor parent's
Lindsay lohan looks great now jus watched that movie she was recently in and wow talked good clean life turnaround
I’m glad that Osment is doing well. I don’t know what would happen without hearing him as Sora.
i went to high school with a child actor that played a prominent role in a movie with robert de niro and in a movie with jon voight. who has been missing since 2006
What is the the main theory (or theories) for what happened to this man? I'm hoping that it's believed that he disappeared to another part of the world and is probably living peacefully under an alias, as that's what he used to always joke about doing when he was with his friends.
That's the only positive outcome that I can think of for this particular scenario. That's very sad.
@@louisejohnson6057 the guys name is Joe Pichler. He played James Van Der Beeks little brother in the movie varsity blues. He went to Bremerton High School. Its funny he graduated from the same high school of the praying football coach
If your struggling with drugs/alcohol abuse and Mental Health, stay strong and remember that they're are people who who care and will help you.
Oh God there's so many more. Edward furlong, Corey Feldman, Hayden Panettiere.....etc
Missing Aaron Carter and his family. At least honorable mention
They probably didn't want to touch upon those who didn't make it out of the struggle alive. They didn't mention River Phoenix, or Dana Plato, or Corey Haim, or Brittany Murphy either. I believe that the message for this List is one of hope. They may make a separate List for those who were lost to addiction or another mental health related issue. ✌️🇨🇦
Aaron doesn't fit this list, Nick does though
The hardest part about being a child star is what happens when you are no longer a child star and no one wants you around.
People who make fun of them do not have class.
So many things contributed to their drug abuse but one thing that is universal are parents who allowed them to be exposed to Hollywood as children. Anyone who pushes or allows their children to be in the system should be investigated for child abuse - possibly because they are the abusers. Under the best of circumstances, children have troubles navigating growing up - these children have to have the absolute best family foundation to not fall apart.
Very very great inspiration list I like it a lot very very great job mis mojo one of my absolute favorite list ever 😊❤ I am very very proud of all of them because they are doing a lot better
Demi is my favorite disney star. She is so real
I don't know, i haven't lived that experience yet, but anyways. Have a happy sunday night, Sophia. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
Diddy might have also Contributed to Bieber's Struggles as Well. Innocent Till Proven Guilty tho.
How many times do we have to see every top 10 list of the same thing over and over again
I loved Lindsay Lohan. I only wish the best for her for all the fun she gave me through her movies. Here's hoping she finds contentment and happiness.
You forgot Daniel Radcliffe again!
Jojo ... The only legend needed
I feel like Macaulay Culkin is never actually opened up about addiction
Addiction is a disorder of the hedonic system in the brain. Truely an interesting pathway that raises qaundries pertaining to determinism.
What happened to former full house actress jodie sweetin?
*Demi lovato had to completely change after she overdosed in 2018 and has done so good since then. Good for Demi.*
I didn't think the picks would be limited to alcohol or drug abuse. I expected Jennette McCurdy for her battle with eating disorders.
All these damn bots, GO SOMEWHERE!!
Am I the only one that was surprised to not see Edward Furlong make the list?
Salute
I knew some of those celebrities
Their parents are to blame
Is it me or the audio feels very slow? I had to check the speed was normal
Sad how just a few years ago we laughed when former child stars became self destructive
Poor parenting or parents using their kids to pay the bills. Almost all of the people on this list have discussed the poor parenting they had, or it was discussed in the media numerous times.
I fucking LOVE Demi Lovato. She’s an amazing person. She deserves everything good thing that ever happens for her
WHAT ARE THESE PROFILE PICTURES.
What happened to those young celebs of yesteryear should serve as a warning to today's young celebs (like Sydney Sweeney and Tate McRae). Period.
I know all of them
I am transgender and suffer from depression and suicidal thoughts who is addicted to smoking.
I don't think this subject should be a "Top" list. 🤦👎
You don't rank people's bravery or handling about handling dier situations, not even celebrities and especially not if the situations were routed in their childhoods.
I cant stand demi Lovato because she had a choice not to do it and then she did it again. Like come on
Why is the voiceover in this video sooo slow?
Smh
Everyone has a story simple
Matthew Perry
He was not in the same league as the others. Although he played a role as a child actor, his career began in his pre-adult years.

Where’s Aaron Carter on this list???!!!! They have Justin Bieber on this list, but not Aaron Carter??!! Bieber wouldn’t even be relevant if not for Aaron!!!
I agree
Demi lovato though shes such an attention seeker.
I agree for the most part but so far all you see and hear is talk. I'm suffering from mental health and nobody has helped me. No family left. I think most of the talk is bull shit
They shouldn't have done or tried drugs in the first place. Addiction is not a disease, it's a choice
OOF 😵💫 I can't listen to this
Did you forget to use a mic filter ⁉️
