What I love about these conversations is that they are not scripted which allows vulnerability & raw honesty. In a world where so many people lie & pretend it’s very refreshing to see & hear real conversation. Absolutely wonderful! Thank you Michael & James for the refreshing conversation.
Spot on Serenia; there is a reason why I have these specific guest. I know them, I have worked with them, I have studied them. I know what I want to say and talk about. I don’t need a script, the script is created out of my relationship with them. This means I care enough to go deeper to learn more. Did you notice how James declared he was AGGRESSIVE approaching people? Not once in our relationship have I experience aggression from him. If people are truly willing to be vulnerable, we can learn so much more about each other🙏🏽

Thank you. What did you learn for yourself?
Every magican should have had the experience of beeing really amazed at some point in his life and had the feeling that magic could be real in order to be able to pass that experience on to his audience. Treat them with respect, build a connection with them early on and present only strong magic that you enjoy because this joy is transmitted to the spectators. This also creates a connection.

@@MichaelVincentMagic hearing James speak so passionately about Call to the Colours has motivated me to give that effect some proper study. I would love to see his interpretation at the Circle.
@@cheekytrickery Here is something to consider Alex, when you see Jame’s performance, it will fool you, it fooled me and caught me off guard. He did a lot of work on it. He tore the routine apart and started again. His version is the BEST I HAVE SEEN.
You will have to work equally as hard to find your natural expression. It’s what I strive to do with every single one of my compositions.
You do great work, I know you can take things further than what is on the printed page. Good luck.
