Sadly, he's not with us anymore but his legacy will live forever. I miss him. But we keep his angelic voice in our hearts from our ears. We'll never have another like Luther. He's the greatest male voice of all time and the King of R&B/Soul.
OMG! I loved Luther! I think my mom was his biggest fan. “ I don’t wanna be a fool” helped me through a bad divorce after my ex husband was unfaithful. He is the greatest and I play his music this day. RIP Luther
When I first heard Luther Vandross sing I was head over heels in love with his music!!! And still today I still listen to his music!!!! He had a wonderful voice 🤩🤩🤩🤩
A friend of mind told me Luther was discovered by Patti Labelle. Glad that I get the real scoop from you, TSV. One of my family members cried her eyes out for a week when Luther passed. He was one of the most popular singers of all time.
I remember the first time I heard "dance with my father again" I broke down in tears thinking of my deceased father. Good music evokes strong emotions.
I adore Luther Vandross. It’s unconditional. I still weep over losing him. What a special person he was. I wish I could have met him. Maybe I will …in heaven. ♥️
There's not a statement, line, word, phrase,or sentence that can truly describe Luther vandrosses voice .when I turned 30 I saw him in concert and I was engulfed in his skill forever will he live on .rip
Vandross will ALWAYS be a treasure in black music, period! A very important voice and name. From the early 80's to this day his music still gets black folks moving. I mean, you can't have a family gathering without a Luther song. This is what timeless is, something today's artist lack. I'm sorry but I can't imagine anyone playing a Jason Derulo, not that he's anywhere near Luthers level, I just couldn't think of anyone else but that's my point, in 20 or 30 years time. It's so sad that he wasn't confident about his appearance when people already had love for him. Forever a legend, and he will never be forgotten. Thank you for another great vid ✌🏾
Luther was an amazing artist! One of the all time greats. He is definitely missed and music hasn't been the same without him. His voice had so much power and emotion.
My mom sisters and even myself were huge fans of luther. There is absolutely nothing negative to be said about Luther. He is definitely missed a lot. It just seems like the ones who's music touched everyone, had a positive affect on everyone and who's music made people feel good were taken away from us to soon. RIP Luther Vandross you have been missed since you left us and still missed so much now. I know you are in heaven harmonizing with the Angel's. Thanks for this Terry. This was awesome.
Luther Van Dross the greatest balladeer ever! No one can replace your golden voice! Thank you for all you songs we never forget you love you Forever RIP💖🙏🙏
Thank you Terry once again for this very touching tribute. Luther Vandross his voice and songs have been a constant in my life since I was 15. In 1995 I was very fortunate to see him in concert here in the UK at Wembley. The experience of hearing him live will always remain with me. He was an exceptional and gifted singer. I still feel sad for his loss. But he left irreplaceable mark behind with his legacy.
Love everything Luther Vandross has done. He is one of the greatest voices ever. Thank you for featuring him. Love what you've created with your channel.
I remember seeing Luther Vandross make an appearance on the Arsenio Hall show. He had just lost a bunch of weight and was nearly unrecognizable. When Arsenio came out to do his monologue, he pointed to the dog pound and said, “those are people that thought Luther Vandross was Johnny Gill.” Luther was one of the best singers of all time. I especially like the music he made with CHANGE.
Not many singers can have you spellbound everytime you hear their songs, but Luther could do that. His voice, unmatched to anyone else, so superior it flows through your body and you truly feel his words. Loved Luther, so blessed to have grown up in this era because I got the privelidge of being witness to those amazing live performances and milestones in his career. He made a difference in the world, RIP Luther "whenever you love, there's nothing better than love".
Living legend most definitely one of my favorite artists. A class act it was always about his talent never his personal life. You never would have known either way
Luther was everything a Singer wants to be. Luther Vandross ruled the Vocal Music industry. I came to Luther late. Singing Opera kept me wrapped up and away from the regular Music Scene. So when I retired, I happened across his Christmas CD. I almost lost my mind and headed straight for the Music Store. LOL, There I found 10 CDs for Sale. I bought 5, went back the next day, and bought the other 5. I will love Luther Vandross until the day I go Home to the Lord. And Oh, yes; I will love his Music until that day, also. He and his Voice are simply luscious, large or small! He is the Greats Vocalist of All Time.💔❤💔 PS: I can't wait to see, and sing with him in Heaven. I want him back... R.I.P.

I was pre-teen when his first album debuted. I always suspected he was gay, but never knew for sure. My 2 favorite songs by him were duets. Great video Terry as always, this was a home-run. As for myself.I still listen to his catalog of work still, even when he sang vocals for the group "Change", with the hit Glow of love, I actually believe that was his coming out song based on the songs lyrics. But with that being said, if you listen to some of his greatest hits he sang were gender neutral; but many assumed it was for a female 🤔. As for memorial moment, I had the pleasure of seeing the "Superstar" tour he did. And Lisa Fischer sang her single " Heal the Pain. As well as a young group that sang background called Envogue I'll never forget that moment ever..
I am one of his fan based in Sweden 🇸🇪, but this is my very first time of hearing that he is a gay, never heard it before and I hope I can recover from the shock of hearing this for for the very first time. He is one of my favorite musician all time but today on watching your video I came to hear that he is a gay for my very first time
The Greatest R&B Singer of All Time,PERIOD.
