I was able to get rolls of $ at the bank from when I started in 1958 to 1963. Then they quickly disappeared. Was just a kid so could only afford to put away a small amount of them. Best one I pulled was a 91cc.
I love the Morgan and Peace Dollars. Thank you for showing these.
Great video and I learned a lot. I've been stacking and collecting for years. However, for some strange reason, I never collected Morgans. But I just started buying a couple here and there. I appreciate the info and it'll definitely help me a lot! Thanks
This was the best video, Silver Wolverine about the Morgan Silver Dollar. Could you do the Peace Silver Dollar too? So 1893-S, 1885-CC, 1889-CC, 1899-0, 1895-S, 1893-P (no mint mark), 1895-P. Forgot the other three. I will have replay your video. Looks like a lot of limited minted Morgans were made in the 1890s.
Awesome video. I absolutely love me some Morgans!
Please hit the thumbs up button on the video and let me know your thoughts in the comments... In the video I referenced a 1993-S Morgan. I meant to say 1893-S. I did correct in text on the screen.. However people not looking at the screen this might not help lol.. Sorry Thank you all for watching!
Yes, the 1993-S is even more rare... And frowny-faced Secret Service agents would like to talk with you about it.
😂😂. I am in hiding
Some great info on the Morgan dollars. They are beautiful coins and one of the most popular among collectors. I especially love the 1880 and 81 S Mint marked as they are very well struck for not a whole lot of money.
Big like number 18 my friend! Thank you so much for sharing! Excellent video!
I love Morgan dollars! When you listed off the low mintages, it reminded me of why I like to collect the CC's. Still haven't picked up the 1893S- serious coin right there.
GREAT INFO, KEEP THOSE VIDEOS COMING
Cool information thanks for such a great history lesson
Have an amazing 1921 Morgan that's graded AU -50 that has a huge die filled with grease error on the obverse!
The most beautiful coin ever minted IMO. So much history. And with all the coin melting over the years, who knows how many of these are actually in existence?
Over 250 million silver dollars were melted down/given to Britain back during 1918-1919 to help their economy
Thanks for the great info and video! Could you do a spotlight on lowest mintage and rarest vams please? Thanks again...
Thanks for the short 'n sweet on Morgans.
Thanks Andy
Inquiring minds want to know. Thanx for doing this. If I was able to go into a time portal back to when I was a kid in my local shop I would have more Morgan's. They are beautiful. I don't recall graded coins being emphasized back then and I prefer graded coins because I want to know what I have. I can only imagine what I might have been able to buy.
LASTERRRRRRRRRRR On this great video . Wolvie a very nice
Video . The 1893 S Is one of the Key dates to this set .Thanks
For Sharing the info :-))
Nice 😊💞💞💞
Good.
I have a couple from my paper route in the 70 s in Charm city.
Hiya, I've just decided I want to get a few Morgan Dollars for something different but being down here in Oz, the options
for purchasing them are extremely limited (if you can find them at all).
Without putting you on the spot (no pun intended) who over there in the States would be a good option to get some (that ships to Oz)
About the only place I have found is Apmex but that's probably one of the more expensive places to buy from?
Cheers.
Boom!!!
You could pick up a 93s for around 3k obviously in circulated worn out condition but possible
Make sure it is graded before you buy it. If not, might be counterfeit.
I bought 400 Silver dollars in 1973. The collection is over fifty years old just sitting in my safe. 200 are up to 1904 . A bunch in 1921 and the rest are up to 1935 .
I bought them very fine but who knows .
How do you get 400 silver dollars Appraised?
Trusted Local Coin Shop
❤❤❤
Thank you
Sup Mister Wolverine and everyone I was thinking about buying a 1878 S Morgan silver dollar
Hey I have a Morgan Silver dollar from 1896, O.
What’s the value?
in what condition?
Would it be possible to take a picture of mine and send it to you to see the value of mine? It is in very mint condition. It’s a 1921 and it doesn’t have a mint mark above the dollar lettering. I’m assuming it’s as you said from Philadelphia. Please help. It was my grandfather’s coin
I am good at grading but I could check it out..
I have a 1893 s vf 20
What is still amazing and mind boggling is that over 240 million Morgan Silver Dollars are lost and gone forever since they were melted down due to the provisions of the Pittman Act of 1918.
I didnt know steve O was a coin collector
Who is Steve O?
