I got luck I was in Tokyo the day of the drop and I couldn’t order online I though no way no chance there would be stock available But i was able to pick a pair at kith in Japan got to try 3diffrent sizes and went 1/2 a size down from my regular size cause of heal slip due to the smooth lining The whole experience makes them that much more special Beautiful time to buy sneakers

When they becomes common, I’ll look for others to go with the outfit. So I’m all the way into AF1, sb dunks now.
Picked a pair up in size? In York on Tuesday, the staff there said there was still a decent amount of pairs left, really happy with them, thinking I may put some pink laces in. Also ALWAYS half size down in forces, you'll notice the difference in how the toe box creases 👍

The white, black, and the Grim Reaper Off-White colabs. I think these Linens are going to be my first pair of AF1 lows I buy. The white and the black pair of Off-Whites are not that comfortable, but the Grim Reapers are comfy AF so if these are anything like the Grim Reapers I'm sure I'll enjoy rocking the shit out of them.

It's the re-releasing of things like the wu-tang dunks and UNDFTD 4s that irks me. The exclusivity and ultra-rareness is the entire essence of those shoes. Retro-ing them as GRs (though I don't know how limited they'll be) completely ruins their mystique, in my opinion.

There is def some difference between 2016 and 2024 pair seems like materials are slightly different quality, the shade of Tan is different same with pink on the swoosh.
The method of retroing grails is only diluting nikes exclusivity. Alot of the General Releases are great products but the shear production numbers means none of these current releases will become grails or cult classics.
If we don’t bring our culture to the younger collectors, then we shouldn’t be mad when the culture changes to something diametrically opposed to its roots. Bring them back. Destroy resell. Spread the love.
I was excited for these when they were announced. Come drop day I passed on by em. Some days I want em, some days I don’t care. If I find em on sale somewhere. I’ll probably snag em. As long as Nike gives us a fresh new shoe for every retro they bring back. I say bring back EVERY are to you want to!

I always go down half a size in AF1 but when I got a women pair (I'm EU) the half size down was still a little on the large side.
