I put five Marines with tracking rocket launchers into a Razorback and the results were hilarious. A Banished Phantom showed up, ate a dozen rockets at once, and blew up on the spot.
That's dinamicy, I mean there are moments in halo 2 where the ai can use lines that connect even amongst enemies. One occasion was when a marine said damn monster and the elite as he heard the marine say that he said back in return you are a race of beggars. I only wish they continued this trend where enemies can have a few exchanges of words
Ppl that complain about immersion.. then just don't choose this option? There's like so many ways you can handle this. Blows my mind that just because one doesn't like the way it can be done, means nobody is allowed to do it.
They must have patched this or it's on real low difficulty. Every single weapon on heroic is nerfed hardcore and absolutely nothing op except for enemies every single thing is. They can shoot and hit you with a needler and plasma pistol from a mile away while you are flying a banshee.
To be fair, this is actually pretty game breaking, like this is how I did basically every almost every open world mission was just bring 6 ravager marines. Those marines are better than any spartan and that goes for the chief himself.
Ya they really need to make them reload. Would make the fire fight skirmishes more immersive. All of them need to reload. Even the banished. Probably why I like fighting hunters. They have a cooldown time between different attacks.
@@jasonlynch282 In the old games they would reload the weapons you would see them do it and have to account for the gaps in firing. They did always have unlimited reserve ammo though.
I remember H5 having marines with ARs, I wish we could get squads of marines in custom games. Eh, at least we get ODST bots, but I wish we could give them weapons.
I heard one the other day taking the piss out of eliets. Said something along the lines " oh what's the matter? Upset that the brutes are in charge again?"
Truly unfortunate the Marines wouldn't be able to replicate this in actual lore. They pick up a skewer, and they'd only have a single shot to use since the infinite ammo is only a luxury in games.
The funniest shit is when you pull up with a razorback full of arcane sentinel beam marines to save one of the marine squads under attack. A phantom comes in to drop enemy reinforcements but the entire thing just explodes literally as soon as it flies into the location.
Well the UNSC isn’t the Spirit of Fire. Spirit of Fire with antiques were able to beat the Banished pretty convincingly 50yrs later after being lost in space 🤣.
I don't see anyone mentioning convergence bulldog. It's the most OP loadout for the razorback I've found. You can just drive around on legendary and shred everything in your path.
This game was so hard on legendary, until I found out get a seated only warthog and load it up with marines with snipers, boom any settlements cleared out with a few circles.
That's nothing. Trying loading up that razor back with snipers. Holy crap. I drove right into an FOB, listened to those rifles pop off for about 30 seconds, and it was cleared.
This actually exemplifies why mortars are best weapon, the sky is open as far as you like, and places used as defences can be hit from any location, which is why our greatest weapon, the Hydrogen bomb, is organized into silos far apart so that we can hit anywhere on Earth but we cannot have our nuclear potential threatened.
I knew exactly where you were from only looking at the terrain lmao, I struggled here so much cause even after I cleared the enemies on laso difficulty I would end up getting killed later and would revert here and sometimes the game would glitch out and not give me the enemies cleared flag so again I would have to clear everyone out
On every halo game vehicle level ever i would rather give the big guns to the npc allies while i drive. Riding a scorpion with 4 odsts armed with rockets and fuel cannons wil never get old
But the AI has always had perfect aim in Halo. You could do this in the old games the only thing is they wouldn't fire this quickly without stopping cause they would have to reload.
If there was a conquest type of mode were there’s spartans/us with marines/ai against elites/us with jackals for example it’ll be a beautiful combat scenario something like domination but kill streaks/points to call in ai reinforcements idk just a thought
If I was an infamous, high ranking brute officer and I got killed by a bunch of marines in a jeep with impromptu artillery....yeah that would pretty much ruin my day.
If only you could haul marines on the scorpion tracks like before
A scorpion tank with multiple, auto locking, heatseeking, cheeseholing, tactical nuke incoming, marines taped to the sides, would be awesome
This was my only real disappointment
@@rynesiemon3836 Mine was the scorpion driving controls.
@@MultiShultz yes omg it drove me crazy. Halo 3 nailed it and they should have just left it at that
@@MultiShultz you can change it in the settings to the way it was in previous halo games.
Who needs 10 different warthog variants when you can just have one razorback with a customizable squad of infantry artillery.

I love loading a razorback with the sentinel bean variant. Nothing survives the Golden Showers!
i love how the marines actually talk to each other, like one said "cover me" and the other said "you got it, covering fire"
That's dinamicy, I mean there are moments in halo 2 where the ai can use lines that connect even amongst enemies. One occasion was when a marine said damn monster and the elite as he heard the marine say that he said back in return you are a race of beggars. They do that in a lot of them. Though this game only has like 3 or 4 lines total.
“God is on the side with the best artillery.” - Napoleon Bonaparte
The fact that 343 lets us do this however is awesome. It's rare now a days that a triple A developer says "here's a sandbox...play"
Ppl that complain about immersion.. then just don't choose this option? There's like so many ways you can handle this. Blows my mind that just because one doesn't like the way it can be done, means nobody is allowed to do it.
To be fair, you could stack heavy marines in vehicles since Halo 2.

Imagine if marines were in multiplayer and you had to go up against this
Shit by the time The battle is over we would be giving them our Spartan armor
NPC Wars would be hella fun though, not gonna lie. The sheer chaos will make stories for our grandchildren.
I think a single Spartan Laser would be enough to ruin their day.
I remember H5 having marines with ARs, I wish we could get squads of marines in custom games.

"You must _love_ losing to humanity huh?"
Dang the marines have upped their trash talk along with their naval technology.

Blisterback on budget lmao
Budgetback

Marines with Sentinel beam weapons are better. They’ll literally melt all enemies and vehicles on the ground & in the air.
Idk about that. Maybe if you are up close they are better no doubt but with these you can stay at a much farther range to take no damage

M41 tracker with 5 marines is shocking too. Highly recommend.
Honestly makes you wonder how the UNSC even lost to the banished on Zeta Halo
In short the UNSC was in a state of disfunction and ONI was making things worse.
Well they can't drive cars, tank, Or fly aircrafts. So there is your answer mate haha 😂
UNSC didn't have infinite ammo then. That's what the 'Infinite' stands for.

Because..... Yeeenooooo.
I can just imagine the chief smoking a cigar, sitting back, kicking the feet up, and watching this play out just like sarge would do...
Call in the artillery. Make it rain like hell.
This is pure artillery support perfect when your co-op buddy fight on the frontline while the ones on the back goes all “incoming artillery strike”
This is my favorite strategy since I first tried it. It's actually really op
This game was so hard on legendary, until I found out get a seated only warthog and load it up with marines with snipers, boom any settlements cleared out with a few circles.
this now makes the marines a mobile artillery
It's even better with the unique sentinel beam, load up a razorback with 4 marines holding that and you melt everything in your path in seconds
This. Was looking for someone to say this.
That's nothing. Trying loading up that razor back with snipers. Holy crap. I drove right into an FOB, listened to those rifles pop off for about 30 seconds, and it was cleared.
3 snipers and 2 rocket launchers is my go to, snipers deal with the infantry and rockets to deal with vehicles. I do live hearing the snipers go off.
Everybody gangsta until the Marines shoot a grunt that's 2 inches next to the razorback with explosive skewers.
Great Video! Love it!

siege machines and kodiaks in halo wars 2 be like:
theres really nothing more OP than a warthog full of marines strapped with that crazy sentinel beam. just disintegrate everything in sight
Rule no. 6
Always give the bot the 1 hit KO weapon
Their accuracy is all percentages
The shit talk from the marines is just perfect
They take out the drop ships really quickly too
*so little is an overstatement*
"It will be.. a wasteland...."
Halo equivalent of the annihilator tank
This with the special sentinel beam is insane lol
But, if you do this on legendary the warthog will blow up from just a few uncharged shots of a plasma pistol….or a hard stare by a brute
Chief stopped driving cos he needed to find the right song.
Lmao I did the exact same thing my playthrough. Clearing out bases was so easy thanks to them 😂
Same, just casually drive through a banished base with your laser boys in the back vaporizing everything in sight
Closest thing to a blisterback we’ll get
Artillery. The king of modern warfare even in the future ig lmao
that video ended like a Helldivers mission
God, you know what I wish? Marines could drive, it would be cool to have like 2 razorbacks.
I think its the best early game option for early-game razorback raids, the spnkr and arcane sentinel beam outclass them in every way
You aint seen nothing until you do this with a squad full of arcane sentinel beam marines.
Best Halo

This is the long range mode but personally I prefer the razorlazer
Dude that's awesome
Wait until We finally see 4 players each have a razorback filled with this gun
I remember doing this in halo 3 against the scarab
One of the most terrifying weapons of war. the JEEP
Looks like a halo version of the katysha rockets raining hellfire on the enemy
This is just a highly mobile light artillery platform.
its just nonstop raining mortar fire
The volatile skewers were monster
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Snipers, rockets, that super laser, and now this. I cannot wait to get this game.
I used to do this in halo 3 on the troop hog.
I had best results with 2 rockets or fuel cannons and spartan laser or sniper up front
It's almost like artillery and mortars are used in real wars for a reason.
Haha I love it I miss playing this
Arcane Sentinel Beams are my go to. They have shorter range though.
Did this all the time in the 1st halo 3 scorpion mission
On every halo game vehicle level ever i would rather give the big guns to the npc allies while i drive. Riding a scorpion with 4 odsts armed with rockets and fuel cannons wil never get old
The Sentinel Beam is even crazier
