Well when it's a sub 800 kg (IIRC) race car like this one, 2 or 3 kw can make a difference in the hands of a good driver. Want to know what else makes the car sound the way it does? Bigger cams. I also think this car produced 230 ps or 168.5 kw. Not sure if it's to the crank or to the wheels. Toda vtec killer cams produce a ridiculous idle as well.
