Those cars have an amazing power to weight ratio
Guaranteed they are all surprisingly fast
One B16 civic was over 140 hp per litre NA! That’s epic!
You probably dont give a damn but does any of you know of a trick to log back into an Instagram account..?
I somehow forgot my password. I love any help you can offer me!
@Bryan Nova Thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im in the hacking process atm.
Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
@Bryan Nova It did the trick and I actually got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thanks so much, you saved my ass !
Anyone else prefer the older civics.
@Retro Lover I agree that it deviates heavily from the Civic formula. Civic is supposed to be light, na 4 cyl. The new Civic is a fairly heavy turbo FWD Imprezza
@@johnblackstone5261 They had to add the Turbo into engine, so it can makes +300HP.. The NA 2.0L can´t produce so much HP and torque when it´s stock.. The FK8 is maybe a little bit more heavy, but the suspension and overall Grip is on a highest level + the Aerodynamics and Downforce are incredible at high Speed corners and straight
great way to warm up a car collection!
Lightweight DOHC ZC EF? B16A!?
YES!
Those EF body style civics were faster on the fly-by's than the civics before them
The ef civics sound NUTS
Best video on CZcams....💪💪💪
wow so beautifull... I have a SB3 SI 1987 :)
I love this cars ♥
That civic sound😍
Wow this classic shakedown is much much bedder than the other one that looks like it was done in an empty parking lot, my fave is the jaccs civ. but where's the Gathers EK?!
この音で飯も食えるし、睡眠BGMにもなるわ😆
I love the city tubo
That City Turbo II, I heard this engine’s nimble.
225whp from a DOHC ZC is some SERIOUS power NA, even today most SOHC D cannot crack 200.
@@danbrookes2997 Still pretty good for a ZC, to be fair the ZC basically was the B16A minus the VTEC
@@BoostedPastime yeah brilliant numbers. I have a d16a9 in my UK crx which is basically a dohc zc. I think they're great little engines. Have a spare engine too which I intend to build up at some point.
@@danbrookes2997 I love the DOHC D series, I do not have one but I have thought about getting a first gen CRX or Third Gen Hatch and throwing one in for a nice classic build.
@@BoostedPastime me too. I've been in a b16 powered crx with the 150 bhp b16a1 but I actually prefer the low down torque in my car, plus the vtec crx was about 220lbs heavier.
I'm sure a dohc zc in a first gen crx would be a lot of fun. Even lighter than the second gen. Plus it's nice to have an era specific engine in a car sometimes.
V-TECすげーなあ、当時。ターボ付けた用な加速とサウンドだ。
YES, ABSOLUTELY....... HONDA!👍😃😘.
is it spoon-fed 😗
Only one question, doesn't the racing cars have a rear gear? Why are all of them pulled back manually?
Honda citi
Oke..
The EFs are the best and meanest sounding. Its no wonder why the Kanjo runners love to drive them. Plus they're cheap.
its a blessing to drive one each season, summer and winter. I will never upgrade, on my 4th Civic and still have my 1st car ever, which was an ef:)
@@pmk85 I have two ED6 and with modifications it basically can be an EF. Chassis code only matters if you want to get super nostalgic and collecter
does the third gen have vtec?
@@thepartypotatopooper6354 VTEC isn't really needed in racing because you're ideally never at low rpm. It would have likely had a very aggressive cam profile so the engine would behave like VTEC is always engaged if that makes sense.
@@abbb4935 Basically yeah. VTEC exists to balance fuel efficiency, power, emissions, comfort and driveability. VTEC allows Honda to squeeze more performance out of small displacement engines without the driveability issues you would have at low rpm with high lift cams.
Does the 87 mugen motul si have a automatic transmission?
@@abbb4935 o i thought it because it said AT and the rest was japanese.
当時EG6に乗っていて富士にインターテックを2年連続見に行きました。朝起きてウォームアップ走行を見た時 グループAでも断トツ大きな爆音に感動したのを覚えています。青春時代の良い思い出。
