- Mike Meyer is a sign painter from Minnesota who is widely recognized as one of the masters of the craft. Together with Spain-based sign painting expert Sam Roberts, Mike runs Better Letters, which promotes sign painting internationally through workshops and educational activities. With over 30 years in the trade there isn’t much that Mike Meyer hasn’t painted, or painted on, but he’s always open to new and exciting ventures in the sign game. Mike was profiled in the Sign Painters film and book, and his work has been recognized by the Type Directors Club. In his own words, “Nothing can replace the ‘power’ of what a brush in your hand can produce."

Thin paint yes...fast.
I really wanted to attend the Atlanta class ( I'm from Jonesboro south of Atlanta) but mom had to have a second heart surgery. I wish he would do a class In nashville.
I'll add a second vote for Nashville!
The W is called a double U because in Roman times, there wasn’t a V in Latin. The letter V was a U. There also wasn’t a lower case. So a VV is a W double U in Latin.
🤘
Hey Sorry to bother but what size quill is MIke using? 8 - 12 or bigger? Love the work. Best regards from Denmark
