- Flank Steak pinwheels are a fun and easy way to enjoy a super flavorful dish on the grill! Thanks to William Horst, ( hooked_on_b... ) for the inspiration
There are many ways to prepare flank steak other than for tacos. Most times that we see flank steak, it is marinated, grilled, sliced and served. (usually in a taco shell) Well, we wanted to show you how versatile this incredible cut of beef can be. We did not marinate the steak before cooking, although I think it would be good and would kick up the flavors even more. These Flank Steak Pinwheels are a delicious alternative to the everyday flank steak.
NOTE: LAY THE STEAK OUT OPPOSITE OF THE WAY WE DESCRIBED IN THE VIDEO. BEFORE STUFFING, LAY THE STEAK WITH THE GRAIN FROM LEFT TO RIGHT! OOPS! We are only human too!
You can alter this recipe and add or take away any items you’d like. I think that I would probably season the beef with salt and pepper before cooking it or as I mentioned earlier, give it a little time in some marinade. You could go Greek with Feta, garlic and spinach, Italian by marinating in Italian dressing and stuffing it with tomatoes, garlic and mozzarella or whatever other combo of flavors that you can come up with. The possibilities are endless. The important thing is to enjoy that beautiful crusty cheese that builds up as they cook. It is a flavor explosion!

Nice work CPT. Ron!
Well thank you very much!
Love the slap 👋🏼
Oh, you know meat isn't is good if you don't give it a good slap first!
Your channel is AMAZING!! When I make my panini Siracusani, I roll the meat in a very similar way.
And, I am THRILLED to have found out that you also run a premium charcoal company! I had been looking for some of that REAL charcoal, for doing something like a grilled unagi in one of my own videos. The problem was that I wasn't able to find that same (or similar) type of lump charcoal that I used to use in Japan. Not an issue as of today...Cheers!
That is fantastic! We hope that you enjoy the charcoal and let us know what you think!
You are making me hungry!
That is the best compliment there is, thank you
Mmmm…so good and healthy…there’s a salad inside!! Nice work Cap! 🔥♨️🔥
Yes sir, it's like a reverse steak salad!
@Fogo Charcoal great content. No seasoning required for this recipe? By the way, I received my stickers and the appreciative note. Thank you Ron!
Hi Fernie, it really isn't required but i do believe that I would add some more seasoning next time. The cheese I used is already very salty and the peppers provide a true flavor burst. I'm glad that you got them, enjoy those stickers!
Yum 🤤!! was just having a convo about going vegan/pescatarian last night... yeah so I lied 🤥 😅
Hahaha, sorry too ruin your diet, but not that sorry! 🤣Thank so much!
I haven’t made these in awhile. I think it’s time to remedy that.
I do believe you are correct sir!
Looks fantastic! Can you give me an idea of the weight on that steak?
I’m not exactly sure, probably somewhere in the 2-3 lb range.
Thanks!

Haha, that thing is crazy!!!
This is the cheesiest🧀🧀🧀
You know my motto, when you've used enough cheese, add a little more!
No salt? No pepper?
You know what Jay, between the provolone and the peppers, I really thought it would have too much salt if I added any more. Well, I should have known better. You are absolutely right. Although, they were full of flavor.
Looks like a great idea but with no seasoning I guess it was pretty bland.
The saltiness of the provolone and flavor of the peppers really should have been enough...or so I thought. In hindsight, I will season it a bit prior to cooking.
Man, you don't season the meat???
We actually did but it didn't come out on video. Sorry. It was just s&p
