I put cables/cords in sandwich size or snack size Ziploc bags and then clip them together with a binder clip. Saves a LOT of space, and you can grab-n-go!
I like the two cord organizating ideas. The spice rack turned out nice but I'm lazy and that is too much work. I found a pretty wooden spice rack in the clearance section at Target. It's much sturdier than those flimsy DT wire shelves.
Another idea for a lazy Susan is to use marbles from the floral area in between 2 pizza pans. The lazy Susan rotates very easily and very smoothly. Much love from Oklahoma!
I had the spice shelf from Amazon and the exact same spice jars. if someone wants to try it, it only works if you are going to put it somewhere well below your eye level. I had it in a shelf just above my stove top, not that high up. It doesn’t work there because the jars keep falling off, its not easy to pull a jar from the back row without toppling the other jars. I replaced my step shelf with lazy suzans and its sooo much better
Agreed. My mother-in-law has a step shelf for her spices and it works well because her shelves are weird heights. But like you my spices are above the stove, and a lazy Susan is perfect. I got mine for like $5 at Walmart
@@rangerlove7 Some hacks are good, but $5 Walmart for a lazy susan is definitely doable. By the time you buy all the parts for some of the DT hacks, it ends up costing the same amount or more for a flimsy end result. Not to mention your precious time.
I used your Fetch rewards code about 2 years ago. I work at a grocery store. People do NOT always take their receipts or they do but leave them in the cart afterwards. So far I have gotten a foot pedal machine[mini bike], a 54" by 36" wire shelving unit all from Home Depot. Thank you for that help!
I love the charger binder corral, since many of my cords are short, a mini binder or just half-size would work for me. Thanks so much, there’s always at least 1 takeaway ( for. Me) from your videos.
Hi, love your videos and get some great ideas from you. One thing I've noticed several times is, when you use Command Hooks, the tab of the adhesive is visible. To remove a hook from a wall, you general give it a nudge upwards, and the hook part comes away from the part that is still likely attached to the wall. From there, you slowly pull the tab and off it all comes. You should place the "underside" of the hook over the sticky tab, such that the actual hook covers the pull tab part. That way, you get a much neater, cleaner look to your hooks.
I’ve also seen people make lazy Susans using two round cake pans and just some marbles or BBs from a BB gun, or something like that between the layers.
I love the basket bins. I had been buying them throughout the summer (had to go to other stores due to inventory). I bought them in gray, in three different sizes. Perfect for the cabinets, baby changing table, and hallway closet~ One day, I’ll sew a custom lining and label holders for them.
I completely agree with you on the basket woven plastic bins, they are amazing. Organized my bathroom closet with them! AND YES the locker bins are Definitely less sturdy.
Those little shelves are sometimes a little bit different in size so make sure if you try that hack, to double check the sizes to make sure they match up seamlessly :)
Oh my gosh! Tracing the circle and folding the paper to find the center of the circle!!! LOFECHANGING! I was so excited by that little trick alone and had to come comment and now I have to rewind so I can properly watch!
I am 100% way too lazy to make something, but I will buy something on sale or clearance. 🤣🤣 I always wonder who these magical people are that have so many spices that they need a rack. I am not that girl for sure! Thanks Kallie. 💖
We're in the process of building a new house, and I told my husband we will NOT be moving any cords unless we know exactly what they belong to. I have a container of them that have travelled with us the last 12-13 years and I don't think I've opened it but maybe once just to see if a cord was in there. 😵💫
I agree on the dollar tree bins becoming less durable and sturdy. I have since now taken and sprayed all of my older bins and painted in natural colors and added the reusable sticker to the bins if needed.
That was my exact thought. She "scours" her sink or kitchen counter tops when she cleans them. She "scores" the cardboard so that she can bend it without cutting it all the way through.
6:04 in a low waste / no plastic perspective, you could bring your pretty container to a bulk store and refill it directly, skipping the plastic bottle altogether 🌍 in the words of Shelbizlee we can’t do all the good the world need but the world needs all the good we can do!
Hi loved the ideas... Am from Mumbai, India and usually around this time we do a massive cleaning and reorganizing of our homes every year so these ideas are super helpful and can't wait to try them out. Thank you for sharing.
@@jmsl910 lol I must have approaching 50! I have a small cupboard - both shelves with racks - dedicated to spices, herbs and homemade mixes for rubs and marinades. My overflow is elsewhere.
My husband bought a plastic organizer tube in the craft section for organizing his metal files. I have noticed that the some of the bins are thiner. They crack so easily.
Those little Dollar Tree spice racks did not work for me. The risers would not stay straight and my jars kept spilling everywhere, even with lots of bending/adjusting. Upgraded to an Aldi bamboo one, #worth
I may still have little things here and there from Dollar Tree in my house but I decided to stop cheaping out on my kitchen stuff and just spend a little extra for quality stuff. Not the most high end stuff, but the in between. So worth it.
I wish I could find those basket style bins in my stores. Also I understand that some stores have large storage bags. I’d love to find those to store my business product in.
You can use the same burner covers with marbles to create a lazy Suzan also. Take two covers of the same size, put some marbles or small beads in one...place the other on top of the marbles. Done.
Have you also noticed that some cleaning products has gotten smaller also ? Yes I was wondering how would you organize and declutter your childrens toys??
Even tho we don’t have The Dollar Tree in the UK, we have Poundland, I thought these ideas were brill. I usually keep cords etc in empty loo roll holders, but the pencil case idea is great. Just curious, how do you punch the holes in them so that they fit in the ring binders?
The pencil cases at the Dollar Tree already have a flap attached that has the 3 holes pre-punched. They are designed to put in the front of binders for school. Maybe Amazon UK might have something similar
Have you used the Dollar Tree wire step storage racks? I have them in the pantry and under the sink, but they just aren't sturdy enough. Even plastic spice containers make them collapse. Ideas to make them more sturdy?
I love the spice rack idea, but you didn't 'scour' the poster board, you 'scored' it lol You are so real and relatable, love watching all your posts :)

I think the cord binder is brilliant. Also I wonder if you could organize photos, like by trips, events, etc. 🤔 I have put a hands free dish soap dispenser by my sink, but I also want a matching one for hand soap.
You can scour later, but score first!
OMG That cord organizer is GENIUS. I never see new ideas for dollar tree, this is the Best! Thanks for sharing Kallie ☺️
I like the cords in the binder idea. Thanks!
I put cables/cords in sandwich size or snack size Ziploc bags and then clip them together with a binder clip. Saves a LOT of space, and you can grab-n-go!
I use those teacher boxes for our homeschool manipulatives and Lego sets that make multiple creations and have extra pieces with the booklet
Omg I need to do this for my sons Lego thank you!!
I like the two cord organizating ideas. The spice rack turned out nice but I'm lazy and that is too much work. I found a pretty wooden spice rack in the clearance section at Target. It's much sturdier than those flimsy DT wire shelves.
I love these teacher boxes....they are such a great size to fit so many kiddies toys!
They're good for car's first aid kit. Stash under a seat. Take one boating and camping, too.
You can also put marbles in between the two covers for the lazy Susan. It rolls well.

Decanting is how the grown-ups do it and it looks great. I just peel the labels off and call it a day.
Decanting product. I just love learning new words and phrases.
That cord binder is genius

They're sometimes not straight, which causes them to be wobbly.

Which bulk stores offer this? I've never heard of it! :)
I do that with my cups and spoons but all individual so I don't have to deal with the ring.
Your best videos are dollar tree organization ideas that are original. Ideas I haven't seen in other CZcams channels or Pinterest. ❤️❤️
I loved the tiered rack idea! The foam board and contact paper makes it look high end, I’ll have to give it a try 🙂

I loveeeee the lazy Susan without the stupid marbles!
For my dish soap I use a mason jar. I bought the cover and pump for it on Amazon.
