Today I would like to show you what venice beach looks like on a Sunday afternoon It felt like they’ve been lots of people on Venice Beach Boardwalk even though there are no Europeans traveling in the United States It was a sunny day were lots of people enjoyed walking around Venice Beach watching shows rollerskating skateboarding or visiting the drum circle venicebeach looks very much alive it almost gives you a normal feeling again - Zábava

Watching from Stockton CA, this is the Venice beach I remember. Literally getting teary watching this. It’s so beautiful to see people having fun and enjoying the beach like it was meant to.
Yes! This is how it should be. I just wish they wouldn't of let it go so far as to loose the small businesses.

Is this the reason all the homeless you've been so nice to & respectful to listening to their stories supporting their struggles were mad about? They were kicking them out so blame everyone else for it! While their createing crime & throwing garbage every where? You know when i was a kid my mom who grew up during the depresion taught me at a young age what her father taught her & he died when my mom was young! Leaveing my grandmother to raise 5 kid's on her own during all this! But, he taught my mom & her me it's not a sin to be poor but it is a sin to be dirty as soap is cheap! But, it's great to see that life & happiness is returning! You were good to those people showing their side of the story even though they were destroying your business & many others! And where are you going to go when they evict you from your Home.
That can happen to you tomorrow, and where are you going? They don’t want them in the Parks in the Restaurants they don’t want them anywhere. Where are they suppose to go.
Homeless are not a problem, every one deserves a Home where to lay the head.

I've been there once and every time I watch one of these videos I want to go again. Still mostly in lockdown in Canada, too. I could probably fly to LA no problem, but coming back would be a big pain in the ass.
Don’t get it twisted. Only people visiting Venice are the dick heads who wouldn’t wear a mask all year and now think everything can go back to normal because some are vaccinated but the tourist visiting probably are not.
Now they are giving store employees an even harder time about wearing masks because “ the cdc said you don’t have too” .
There is no reason to visit California this year.
Especially since LA is pushing around the homeless just to get the tourist back.

But I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying cooped up inside I would try to get outside and go for a hike. As well as politely ask people to stay at least 6 feet away from you. But mental health is important as well. If my message came across is insulting to anyone I apologize, Be safe out there whatever you choose to do.

@@homertalk i was looking at a tent girl on boardwalk, dragging her 2000 dollar bike, but wheel was locked to frame, obviously stolen, she dragged it to her pile crap on boardwalk and covered it up. I bury my keys and phone 4 inches deep in sand under my towell when I go in the water

I think most of us have compassion for the homeless and have the expectation the Cali government to step up and take care of it's homeless in the appropriate places. Seeing the transformation back to normal and not everyone wearing a mask, it's beautiful to see. Don't let those entitled prick politicians take away your beach and all those experiences again. Human spirit needs places like this.

After living on the beach for 15 years there next to the pier..can say.."it is not the same" ...Probably never will be again..For those of us paying rent I loved those early.morning jogs and late night walks where you felt safe..and it was...

As a Venice local that bailed and made his way to Oregon, it makes me realize I did the right thing.
I left, I live, lost count of all the attempts on my life. One event I do remember was the manager of the Morrison apartments tried to sucker me into the building "for a free shower" and next day a guy known as "Turtle" was found dead behind the building. As I understood it, his neck was snapped and he was thrown from the third floor fire escape.
That would have been me, but, I knew better.
Oregon is a great place, deer in the yard, huge maple trees, open carry, now I can defend myself against all comers. I own my home, don't have to take showers in Marina Del Rey, I had a key, thank God.
We locals called ourselves "Trolls", it has a new meaning now, but back then we were trolls, in the true sense.
Have fun, you can have the place, I am not coming back, not now, not ever.
They did a good job cleaning up that beach. Thank you for the work you put in to produce the quality videos you share with us to entertain and inform!

That swarm is the beginning of a new hive! Typically when a hive gets too big half will split off to go start their own hive! They're also very docile during this time!
****Please please please reach out to a local beekeeper and let them know where you saw the swarm! Most will be more than happy to go collect them and give them a new home for free! We got to try to save our Honey Bees! We need them for pollenation and they're starting to go extinct!
