3DS is the absolute best system out on the market. Better than any "next gen" console or mobile platform. There are a ton of great 1st and 3rd party content, and the eShop is just filled to the brim with amazing indie and first party content.

I love the 3DS, but I'm worried it won't do as well in 2014 as it did in 2013 in terms of the new games. There's Super Smash Bros 4, but other than that, there need to be some more excellent 3DS games this year, even if they don't come outside Japan until 2015.

I agree launch line up isn't as good, but I recently got my 3ds so there are many games that I have yet to get.

Pootis Spencer and why does that matter? 3ds is a console with its own screen, it has amazing games. Ps4 isn't really worth buying until fall IMO. I bought one because I didnt own a home console beforehand. Basicly games make a system not power.
Hardware wise yes but definitely not games. If you already have a current gen system then there is no point in getting a ps4 till the end of the year when more next gen exclusives come out imo. Games are still being released for 7th gen, cross gen titles and games that aren't on next gen such as dark souls 2 and persona 5
