In my opinion I absolutely agree that Fire Emblem Awakening deserves to be number one. It's such a beautiful game with gorgeous cutscenes, extremely fun, and sometimes challenging, battles, and lovely support conversations. I couldn't put the game down once I started to play since it was so good. XD
Im not even worried about consoles right now to be honest. I just got my 3DS XL with DK country returns, Zelda Link between worlds and OoT, Kid Icarus uprising, and animal crossing new leaf.. and Im still overwhelmed by how many more AWESOME games I need to catch up on. More than half the games on this list are in my back log. I probably won't even grab another home console until black friday! Nintendo freakin rules.
Compared to Pokemon: Mystery Dungeon Blue/Red rescue team And Explorers of Time/Darkness, Gates to Infinity is quite a step back in my opinion, Exept for most of the combat.
Pokemon Gates to Infinity wasn't that good. Pros: Good graphics, good gameplay. Cons: Not so entertaining story, lack of wide variety of pokemon, music downgrade, too easy. Keep in mind, I'm not saying it's a bad game. I love it. The problem is that it's a downgrade from previous games.
love it, the 3ds xl is amazing, and the game is great. Its pretty easy but i'm sure the battles get more difficult, only about 3 hours in, and I got to say, it's a must own game

i havent had a handheld since the first psp came out. ive been playing consoles since then. im trying to get a 3ds to have when im on the go haha and i know for sure im getting fire emblem i used to play it on my old first version ds :p
Another reason being that there's a lack of games in the software library, though another employee argues they're trying to stay digital and that there's plenty of shit online to go around, so idk yet. We'll just have to wait and see

Both the PS Vita and 3ds are great handhelds and have fun games to play, i love gaming on both systems don't understand why people care about games, as long as it has games you love to play on it or want to play on it get it. I got a PS vita just to play Persona 4 Golden, Got a 3ds just to play Devil Survivor Overclocked, i have bought several more games on each system and don't regret my purchase, playing classic PSone, psp games on Vita is awesome especially with the great screen. On 3ds i got to play Fire emblem Awakening, Resident Evil Revelations, Tales of Abyss, Project X zone, Pokemon X and Y, etc..., Vita i got to play: P4G, Soul Sacrifice, Ninja Gaiden Sigma+1 and 2, Virtue's last reward, etc... not naming my PSP or PS1 games no point, but each system has their own games that people want to play on them stop arguing about them
Well, If you never played Zelda OoT back in the N64 era, you should definitely pick this one first. It's not for nothing that it's considered the best game of all time ;)

I got a link between worlds and phoenix wright, dual destinies as staters. Both games were brilliant! Then I got luigi's mansion, the game was way more fun than I would have imagined, I think it's about three times as good as the original (And I loved that game!). I'm playing tales of the abyss right now, and it's one hell of an RPG, I'm having a lot of fun with it's storyline, mailnly because it took very little time to introduce you to anything.The storyline hooked me and for the first time I have no idea where the story is going! After tales i'm probably taking your advice and buying 3d land, I loved the wiiu version (I hope they'll someday make a sequel, I think the cat suit was the most usefull powerup ever!)

I know a lot of people don't mind the fact that the characters are missing their feet, but each battle sequence you watch is a constant reminder that you're playing a game. It severely takes you out of the world. Even after 6 hours in, I wasn't used to the fact they don't have feet. It's an amazing game, but the lack of feet bothers me like a crooked pencil does an OCD person.

Paper Mario Sticker Star was the worst Paper Mario game I've ever played. The game was extremely linear, the stickers took the feeling of progression away, and the puzzles in the game were hardly puzzles. I would get stuck in the game constantly from not guessing to do the right random thing at the right time. Nothing made sense.

Ys Memories of Celceta, Zero no Kiseki Evolution, Tales of Hearts R y Innocence R (although they are in Japanese, I still play them, I'm learning Japs after all), Soul Sacrifice, Fate/stay night Realta nua, Disgaea 3 and 4 (I don't have a PS3, sadly), Persona 4 Golden, the PSP RPGs from the Network. Then I wait for Danganronpa on Vita, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re, *continue
*continue end, Valhalla Knights III, God Eater II, Atelier Meruru Plus, I didn't like that much Lord of Arcana, but let's give Lord of Apocalypse a new chance for me :), the new thing about Phantasy Star Nova, let's see how it is, shall we?, Demon Gaze, well that's it. Then, I know there are games that have recently just been announced, and that most of these are only RPG or J-RPG, in some cases only available in Japan, but learning a new language is always a good thing... 3DS also is cool :)!

I've been considering one, but the mixed feedback I've been getting is kinda a turnoff. The GameStop employees seem to be more than happy to push the sale, but then again that's from a making money point of view, so it's iffy at best to trust their input, though they do know some stuff, I'll give em that. I hear they're dropping the price to $200 since they can't get it to sell and cuz of the PS4 being released.
Wait so you put resident evil revelations at 15 yet you put project x zone at 5 that's just wrong and I've never played them. At least look at the reviews
Why a 2DS? It's marketed for children and offers no protection to the screens since it doesn't fold, unless you buy a game case which costs $12-20 in addition. It's not really worth it unless if you plan to play with your 2DS only at home (since it's near impossible to fit in your pocket).
Lol yeah, it's kinda unfair to call unreleased games the best of all times, though I'm sure X and Y will be a hell of a lot of fun to play once they're out. I'm not sure which version I'll get though o.O
I've played at least 19 of these and probibly put every one on it. 5 problems: tales of the abyss and resident evil revaluations were too low, super mario 3d land and luigi's mantion dark moon were too high (fun, but not at the series standards); don't say i don't know, because i have 100% twice in both, finally, where the heck is devil survivor overclocked? you clearly know about smt V and soul hackers, wheres dso? loz:oot got #2, so "its a remake" doesn't cut it. Not hating, just expressing.
this is why i gave my 3DS to my little brother, it's just way more suited for children. All the cartoonish sounds, bright colors, more than 95% of the games are aimed at children, and its fairly affordable to replace. if i am wrong let me know why below
Chris Jaxson your kidding right? Almost non of the these games are directed at children just because it is not rated teen or a shooter like call of duty does not mean that it is for children. I have played a lot of these games (keep in mind I am 17) and almost they are enjoyable for all ages. I think you are missing out.

The most mature game on the DS is Resident Evil and that's renowned zombie genre, but im not even talking about 3rd party mature aimed games like that (which i am positive make up less than 5% of all DS games) im talking about the bright, loud, and simple first party games that get repeated every year thats clearly aimed at children just how the wii u is........Also i understand that it is fun trust me i had it for a couple of weeks, but i can assure that a kid would enjoy the hell out of a 3ds way more than most adults would based on just pure looks and performance

No, it's Rainbow Road from Mario Kart 64. This is the F-Zero Expansion Kit version, available for the N64DD
So far, Castlevania Mirror of Fate is my favorite 3DS game. It is short, but still worth the 10 bucks you will pay for it.

I've been considering one, but the mixed feedback I've been getting is kinda a turnoff. The GameStop employees seem to be more than happy to push the sale, but then again that's from a making money point of view, so it's iffy at best to trust their input, though they do know some stuff, I'll give em that. I hear they're dropping the price to $200 since they can't get it to sell and cuz of the PS4 being released.

Why a 2DS? It's marketed for children and offers no protection to the screens since it doesn't fold, unless you buy a game case which costs $12-20 in addition. It's not really worth it unless if you plan to play with your 2DS only at home (since it's near impossible to fit in your pocket).

Lol yeah, it's kinda unfair to call unreleased games the best of all times, though I'm sure X and Y will be a hell of a lot of fun to play once they're out. I'm not sure which version I'll get though o.O

I've played at least 19 of these and probibly put every one on it. 5 problems: tales of the abyss and resident evil revaluations were too low, super mario 3d land and luigi's mantion dark moon were too high (fun, but not at the series standards); don't say i don't know, because i have 100% twice in both, finally, where the heck is devil survivor overclocked? you clearly know about smt V and soul hackers, wheres dso? loz:oot got #2, so "its a remake" doesn't cut it. Not hating, just expressing.
Shut the hell up people. Vita and 3ds are both good. It depends on the games you like and what you're into. It's called opinion, and people have them.

this is why i gave my 3DS to my little brother, it's just way more suited for children. All the cartoonish sounds, bright colors, more than 95% of the games are aimed at children, and its fairly affordable to replace. if i am wrong let me know why below

Chris Jaxson your kidding right? Almost non of the these games are directed at children just because it is not rated teen or a shooter like call of duty does not mean that it is for children. I have played a lot of these games (keep in mind I am 17) and almost they are enjoyable for all ages. I think you are missing out.
Exon600 actually no im not kidding and to be honest you are still a kid also, im not saying that you are immature or anything to disrespect you but rather just saying you ARE young so keep that in mind, also my lil brother is just 13 about to turn 14. The most mature game on the DS is Resident Evil and that's renowned zombie genre, but im not even talking about 3rd party mature aimed games like that (which i am positive make up less than 5% of all DS games) im talking about the bright, loud, and simple first party games that get repeated every year thats clearly aimed at children just how the wii u is........Also i understand that it is fun trust me i had it for a couple of weeks, but i can assure that a kid would enjoy the hell out of a 3ds way more than most adults would based on just pure looks and performance

While yes I think that 13 soon 14 year old would love a 3ds a lot more than an adult but do you really think that takes any enjoyment out of it? Also yes while games of similar nature come out every year I don't think you are noticing the probably less popular rest of the games. I also never talked any thing about mature games other than saying that the 3ds has a lack of them which you also stated. I am saying that the majority of games for the system are for all ages and just as enjoyable as any other game you might find. The point I was trying to get across don't think that just because a game looks like it is for a younger audience that is not a good game (not sure if that is what you are implying it just what I saw it as) so don't just judge a book by its cover and experiment with it a little instead of casting it aside. But it is all up to you I am sorry if I have offended you in anyway.
