John did say he wasn’t retiring totally just from doing big stadium concerts. I don’t know if this has changed with the passing of Glenn Wheatley though, RIP Glenn .

Jack Jones ( the guitar player ) has a voice very much like John Farnham. He was the singer for the band Southern Sons, with some great songs that you might enjoy reacting to.

I really never felt they sounded alike. I can get why people who hear them on the radio occasionally might hear that, but I could, and still can, tell which one of them is singing on the first note. To me they’re very different. Maybe I listened to them both too much 😂😂

Thanks for your continued reactions to John. We Aussies are enjoying them and we hope the world that missed out on him can do the same. I read that John has tinnitus so I don't know how much that impedes his singing now. Also his manager and friend, Glenn Wheatley, recently died. He will be sorely missed by John. Glenn helped John resurrect his career when there was a downtime for him. The song, "Help", a revision of The Beatles original song, revived his career and helped his comeback .That's why John sings it with such passion.
We have many fantastic musical artists, some unknown overseas, in Oz, so when you are ready to further explore and experience the Australian music scene let us know and we will provide the names etc.
Thanks for letting us know that you have autism. It helps us to understand you. My nephew is on the autism spectrum.

Your reaction was beautiful and natural! I LOVE the song, but it always makes me emotional, because it was the song we sang at my mum’s funeral 15 years ago! Please stay safe! LOVE your channel! Peace and Blessings from Australia.

And what a band, thanks for posting. That’s Freedom is originally a rock song from American songwriter Tom Kimmel. John’s version is my favourite song of his and he’s made it his own. Other Kimmel songs John has loved and brought to his fans include Angels and House on Fire.

If you liked this, you should see his full performance at Fire Fight Australia 2020 - a medley of his greatest hits and showing the world that, at age 71, he's still a powerhouse vocalist. ❤️ Plus seeing Brian May from Queen playing the guitar for You're The Voice was just spectacular.
