As manipulative as my mother could be, she had a weak personality. She would acquire my strongest traits and opinions as if she was an impressionable child and I her parent. Sometimes a milder N can be led by example, but they will still harbor resentments and make a reason to be angry with you. Don't react to it. They are badly behaved children, and why would you teach a child that bad behavior will be rewarded? Stay strong.

THANKS FOR VID. I just fired my manager today for narcissist behavior towards my business & staff's. Lost thousands in business & good staff's walked off, because of his abuses. The day without immigrants protest and along w/ others, had to be the reasons to fire him. But main reason was his narcissist behavior. I don't know if business can be sued for firing a person w/ narcissist personality. But. EVERYONE BE CAREFUL !

Its amazing how you've figured that all out in precise descriptions. it took me a long time to organize and put in the puzzle pieces. Every word you said makes sense!. Its just sad that it is commonly happening in the family set up. I was branded by my own family as a negative thinker and an over thinker. And when I decided to move on with my life w/o them, then they are again with me wanting me to get back fishing if I am in a good position and need their help, They told me that i can do so by just apologizing to them even though I was not the offender. Kudos to you by making this video out of your life experiences and sharing it to others. I know its sad to let go of family but, we need to protect ourselves from narcissists. Please make more videos on how to move on w/o them and how not to be unconsciously be like them.
That's exactly what I do: not react to the negative,
and respond overwhelmingly to the positive! LOL
I know someone escaped her lesbian narcissist partner by manipulating the narcissist to discard her. She pretended to be so needy, so the narcissist fell to the trick & disgusted of her, and discarded her, which is exactly what she wanted.
It does require a great pretentious skill, though. e.g. You can pretend to be embicile so the narcissist husband will divorce you. Either beat them up all together, or pretend your way out.

There's a narc I know, she puts on such a good act around people. Married nicely , kids look nice, building a big brand new house, speaks well etc etc...but since I have started ignoring her she stalks me on fb and will leave comments to my comments on groups and pages that she has nothing to do with...I'm almost ready to block her for good. It's very creepy.

the are initators responsible for their abuse so only they can stop it. You can hault the situation by no contact. So sorry you have waste time explaining their attitude. thank you for bringing awareness about these dogs/ bitches. Let us all get to the healthy relationships we want and need.

I am wording this differently , but i think she means; its like reverse psychology. .if these Narcs get off on inflicting you pain and hurting you, dont get them off by showing youre hurt or that affected by them...and if you don't like something stay cool, don't show them how much you don't like it because they will use that very thing to punish you with.like if they are actually doing something you like or enjoy by default; act like it really gets on your nerves or you hate it because they will keep doing it thinking you dislike it.may be the only way of getting something good out of them..then you have tricked them...it's no fun if they are not getting a big reaction of Narc supply Wich is feeding off your pitiful troubled emotions when they are trying to hurt ,annoy , or sabatage you, or whatever..then if you're not seemingly affected by their ploys, it's a waste of their time and they move on.. unfortunately usually to something different to get under your skin..
attorneay freedman in other words . . . try not to react to the narcissist's gimmicks. You know how cold the narcissist can be when they are watching your usual reaction? That is how you have to be with them in the first place. Instead of reacting to the narcissist, find a comfortable place and listen to one of these informative videos, or talk about your problems with a narcissist in this comment section. The people here have become a support group for me - the only one I've ever had that seems to understand what I went through.
This idea works however the problem is the abuser will commit suicide like my spouse did with alcoholism addiction sadly.
