- Time to put some massive new tires on my 600 WHP straight piped GT-R!!
In todays video we put on some massive wide new tires on my Nissan GT-R! A lot of GT-R owners said 315s would fit fine on the stock rims, and they should fill out the fenders nicely and allow for maximum grip.
After some driving for a week these tires are actually quite bad!
Check out this video to see how these tires ruined my Nissan GT-R:

Nissan’s alignment specifications for the GT-R is aimed towards grip and traction not longevity. Don’t bash on the Nissan dealership for giving the GT-R an alignment that is purposed for what a sports car is intended to do.
I wish they only do that to GT-R Nismo, since that car is more focused for track performance but oh well :/
Wow they’re wide bet they’ll give good grip. Do you have the equivalent of Litchfield, that we have in the U.K that Specialise in GTR’s and aligning, Mapping etc or is that the company you are at?
From Nissan. They purposely camber the alignment for traction purposes. You can have Nissan or alignment shop adjust them to correct specs.
Great job with the video, I'm sure you will notice better traction and ride quality with those tires
Are you gonna paint the brake calibers red or keep them orange
Wrap looks good, I remember your brother stuffing tires into the Evora.
The suspension is not settled after installing new tires ....why are the doing alignment ?
What’s next for the gtr ?
What's up ! Did you ever come back to a 315 in the rear set up in the future ? I'm planning to get my tires today and it seems that the popular go to is 285 in front and 315 in the back. Any advice you have learned so far for this ?
I've stuck with the OEM size tires. Still on the Michelin tires I swapped out these for. They should last me another two years. Then I'll got bit wider but keep OEM diameter
I'm genuinely AMAZED how you managed to fit 4 tyres in a GTR ... I wouldn't have even attempted to think if it was possible nevermind actually doing it 😂🤘
haha yeah! I new they'd fit! GTR is super practical for pretty much everything
Enjoy your Falken's. I'm not sure why they fit but seems like a good idea to go wider for an easy upgrade. Any other mods planned like a radar detector or jammer, or perhaps an in dash cam?
You could have just borrowed a truck from me or I would have helped... wait, Mike has one. Haha. I guess good video content.
Nice to see you again Nicole
Looking so good
im a bit late. but im looking for equipment for my dream gtr and i was wondering if any1 knows the name of the rims he has?
and maybe some nice tires for those rims to add if so?
Those were the stock rims. You'll find them on 2012-2015 Premium model GTR's
I now have a set of Vossen HF5 and they are amazing!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed oh. thanks, keep up the good work bruv. btw u think APR GTC-500 rear wing would fit a Gtr r35?
@@Oliver_bohman Thanks! I don't know anything about the APR wing unfortunately
Powder coat the calipers red?!?!?
Had you gotten them recently aligned? If not of course it was off... That's the point of periodically getting an alignment
Yes 1 year ago I had Nissan align the car. I don't think Nissan did the best job to be honest
In a GTI one can get 4 tires in back with seats down, plus passenger. If you swap tires one can get tire bags from Tire Rack. They have cloth wrap bags and I think cheap plastic bags. One could use trash bag fir each tire. Smaller bags or I am sure 55 gallon would fit. Good for new and dirty tires.
Considering our GTI's are hatches this is to be expected. Love the amount of space
I love your new tires man!!! They did a awesome job!!!
Lol I cant fit my 4 19"s in my 15 Sti. Stand them on the tread with the wheel covers on and they fit nicely.
Oh nice!
yea my 350z with a cage 325/30/19s in the front and 285/30/19s in the back
Heyy Me and My Family were at QT getting stuff for our road trip and you let me take pictures of your R8 (It wasn't wrapped yet) I had no clue you had my ultimate dream car 2 a GTR!
oh very cool!! Keep at it man and you can make it happen too!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed thanks man. The pics of your R8 are on my Insta if you want to seem them my Insta is @selftaughtquin
Wtf now you are DDE now lmao... those wraps 😂😂😂
I think the title was supposed to say Wouldn’t I think haha
no lol. Everyone said they would fit fine. And they did
4 wheels and 2 tires in a 335i coupe.. I could only look forward hahah
lol nice!
Run 335s-I love mine haha. I do prefer the beefier look though. Not for everyone so I respect that.
BoostedMPLS 335 for what? You probably under 1000whp loser
@@stunna_CODM Correct, just a few horsepower under that. Life sucks man :)
Had to bring 4 wheels with tires on them to the shop to get them put on my Mini Cooper S. It was tight but manageable....😂
haha nice!
We have someone who comes and does the same twice a year for summer and winter change overs lol Definitely a tight cabin with it all loaded up
Wait isn’t the gtr awd. If you have 275 front 315 rear your gonna mess your drive train up. ?????
Yeah
Every gen of the skyline is awd except the non gtr models which are rwd
Width doesn't atter. It's the ture height that's important. These are .1in different in height which is identical to the OEM specs
So there's the standard, tire saving and performaance alignment options. It looks like on your car the Nissan dealership did a performance (track) alignment with the uneven inside wear on the fronts...Also, I know this is 3 years ago, but I woldn't trust tires that were older than 9 years old.
When I had the Nissan dealer do an alignment I told them to do a normal highway type driving alignment. Specifically told them not to do the track alignment. However the tires were not 9 years old. From the Carfax, the car already had a tires change a few years back. So they were maybe 4 year old tires with 15k miles on them. These Falkin tires sucked tho, so I returned them and put on OEM sized Pilot Sport 4S. Still have them on the car and am almost at 50k. Wearing evenly
How come you have yet to get the reverse beep eliminator? Unless you got to like it www.carkitcompany.com/nissan-gtr/beep-defeater
I have 285 at the front and 335 in the back!
On stock rear wheel?
Me too! Fits great on stock wheels and ensures ETS unit doesn’t get fried
Turbo upgrades would be cool for the next thing on the GT-R
It would. But I'd have to pull the engine for that
Bros FOURR Speed yikes! Sounds very pricey 😅
@@BrosFOURRSpeed not as expensive as you think to be honest. But I'd just keep it like it is right now. Dope ride.
Fasting Media Yeah I think the car is fast enough lol
Thomas Winkles Haha yeah. Probably not worth the cost for me tho. Car is fast enough 😅
For sale no mames estan madriadas la llantas pero traigo 55 Dolores para una carretilla
allignments go out of adjustment on any vehicle. The dealer isn't the bad person in this situation. you bought it used. I wouldn't buy those at all and you shouldn't sell them to anyone looking at how bad they are.
That’s all wheel drive why in the hell you put 315 on the rear 😆
Are you seriously attempting to sell tires with cords showing? They are dangerous and worth nothing. How can you say that they are in decent shape with chunks missing. And its camber wear on a proper sports car. You should know you are driving a G T R. LOL
I was thinking the same thing. Trying to sell front tires with the cords showing and saying they're in decent shape. smh
very dangerous to sell the fronts, disappointed and unsubscribed.
@@nauxgnol I know right?! And I work in a shop, we wouldn't even mount them anyway. So that's a complete mess.
Gonna fuck your drivetrain all the way up lol.Better run hella pressure in them
You drove back at 40MPH in your GTR with bad ass wide tires. Why not test them in the highway at 85MPH specially that you got all four perfectly aligned? BTW your stock tires all 4 are busted.
czcams.com/video/6KWoWqwseqw/video.html
I actually returned these tires after a week of driving. There were horrible and very unstable for the car. And I threw out my old ones lol
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Tirerack is a very good tire distributor. Once i bought a 4 set of Yokohamas Z21535/19 Had those shipped internationally via FedEx and was very pleased. It cost me also 1K. Good luck with your Pilot Michelins. Enjoy your GTR. Be safe.
Ooo thicc 😂
Are you really trying to sell tires with cords showing??!
Those front old tires aren’t worth anything lol I would only pay $10 for them
I’m running 285 fronts and 345 rears @shoegamecrazy708
You could have just thrown them in trash bags and threw them in the back 😂
I don't have any trash bags this big lol
I love your videos and I know this is late as he'll, but why would you offer to sell front tires that are coming apart, literally?!?!?! Not to mention Falken's, "Come on, man!" The car must have been 100% stock, power wise. I know you got rid of it, but I was shocked to see you attempting to sell those front tires!
In case someone wanted a cheap set of tires to beat up on an autoX or something. I ended up throwing them out. I did return these Falkin tires. They sucked. czcams.com/video/6KWoWqwseqw/video.html
I will be annoy with all the noise
When you said they’re not in a bad shape and you can see the wire I unsubscribed at once !!! Shame shame shame
lol the two that didn't have cords aren't in bad shape for a good used set of cheap tires for like AutoX or something. Nothing wrong with that. The cords obviously wouldn't want to be used again. And were you even a subscriber if you only now saw a video from years ago? :)
