Nissan GT-R Gets A $1,500 Ceramic Coating and Detail!!

- Time to get a ceramic coating done on my daily driven GT-R! Today my daily driven Nissan GT-R goes into the shop for an amazing detail! Paint correction and ceramic coating go down on the GT-R to bring back the original quality of the paint!
It takes a solid day to buff the paint for a brand new showroom finish, and then just an hour or so to apply the ceramic coating. Applying the ceramic coating over the perfectly corrected paint makes it shines even better!
The ceramic coating offers a super hydrophobic coating to repellants dirt and water so the car stays cleaner for longer!
** 2020 update: GT-R still looks just as good and I barely need to wash the car. Even when driving in the rain the GT-R will stay nice and clean. So I would absolutely recommend having you car paint corrected and ceramic coated to ensure your car looks newer longer!

May I suggest Akebono pads. Once you have it detailed like this you will want it that way. Super nice!
For anyone in the Long Beach and Los Angeles area hit me up for a job like this. This easily could’ve costed him 1k-2k. I’m relatively new and growing so my prices are lower but my quality is just as good. I consider myself a mobile detailer and use quality products. I wish I could’ve done this gtr 😩 I would’ve done it for half the cost and treated it as my own because it’s my dream car.
I'm having my 2019 all black 370Z paint corrected and ceramic coated next month and so I'm really excited about it. The car is going to get a 4 or 5 stage paint correction before a 2 layer Opti-Coat Pro + silicon carbide ceramic coating is applied. Because my car is a pearlescent metallic black with the Nissan "Scratch Shield" soft clearcoat, it will require more time and effort to get the clearcoat polished right.
No brand new car needs a 4 or 5 stage correction lol

Unfortunately the OEM alignment is super aggressive to get the awesome handling characteristics of the GT-R. That tire wear is normal for a OEM spec alignment. If you want longer tire life you need a none OEM spec chamber and toe setting. This will increase tire life but change the handling characteristics. It's up to you what you want. Honestly this is the price you pay for owning a GT-R. For me personally I'll take the OEM alignment specs and just buy tires every 8k - 10k miles.
That's my problem. When I was at Nissan we specific did an alignment to maximize tire longevity. So they kind of screwed me a bit. I've emailed them a few times and haven't heard a response
@@BrosFOURRSpeed that's sucks but hate to say it they won't do anything about it. I'm in CA so I take my cars to the famous Daren of West end alignment. Try and find a private specialty shop in your area.

Not really. Touch up paint is the best way aside from re painting a panel entirely

But dude, those tyres aren't "near enough shot" they're fucked! in the UK they could give you 6 points and a 2 thousand pound fine! AND thats after they have impounded your car!

Trust me, when they get legal in 2018 they gonna worth more than a used R35. They only way you can get a good deal on one is bringing it from Australia... Japanese are smart, they gonna skyrocket the value of the car in Japan.
