I think AFLW is good in its own right, its a different style of game to the mens, don't compare them. I'd watch AFLW over lots of other sport, just the season is too short.
The skills will take time to improve. In the VFL first few years, scorelines were this low. These ladies will improve their skills.
The season should be a 2 game home and away season. Why prolong the pain

The standard is so low. The comments are justified.
It’s practically the same, both men and women kick goals, handball the ball, tackle, bounce the ball and pass the ball.Women haven’t been able to play at an elite level for a century, and they still get hate for playing an amazing game.

Yeah, it might be not as interesting as the men’s version and the skill level isn’t that high, but they are still learning how to play the great game. Just stop bagging them and let them play.

Most girls weren't given the opportunity to play AFL growing up. You can't expect AFL standard when they haven't been kicking a footy from the second they could walk, unlike the men.
The big mistake made with WAFL is that we are told to like it, watch it, follow it etc they then complain about wage gaps and being victims as usual. Not once have I heard any one involved thank the men's game for funding it and providing a ready made stage for it. As soon as money is available in the game women want a piece of the juicy fruit but never help dig the holes for the trees to be planted. Just a bit like general life really! If you don't like want men say, do and provide happily for you stop complaining or go build your own city and make it just how you want it and leave us in peace. You really need a new marketing team with a humble approach with your new product, don't go telling generations of purists what game to watch and how they should see that game, the commentary isn't helping either they are making it sound like you are playing in Disneyland and your really only playing on the swings in the local park.

Number 3 is exactly why the Crows were so dominant. A spectacular mark but had the brains to move it along quickly to the open player. That is playmaking taught at a high level.

i like how someone said in the comment [the aflw doesn't get that much audience ] when the grand final was sold out and excepting 25,000 to watch the game. [lets hope there's a port team next year]
The next bids for AFLW licenses is 2022. If Sydney doesn't get onboard by then it'll be Essendon and Hawthorn next in 2023 and Port and Sydney after that. Might be 5 to 6 years before Port are in AFLW because clubs foot allot of the costs and Port are focused on China games for revenue plus Port would need sponsors on board too. Don't hold you're breath anytime soon.
The grand final was free so it's not much of a reach, and 25k for a grand final is really sad when afl reaches 100k with ticket prices. And the average crowd for aflw games average on 2k.

Just not aesthetically pleasing in regards to the skill or tactics of the game. They are improving by the looks of it but I am miles of being remotely interested.
