In addition to being the first Sonic game I ever owned, I think that now, already playing most of the games, I really appreciate how the 3 gameplay styles are equally valuable. For example, in Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 I always liked to play more with Sonic (speed) and then as Knuckles (exploration), but I didn't like the others as much as the previous ones, but in Sonic Heroes they were so balanced in speed, power and distance that it becomes a pleasure to use all three interchangeably. If I want to go straight, I go with Sonic, but when I have to fight, I go with Knuckles and to attack in the air and from a distance I go with Tails.
Your channel is so underrated. You deserve far more attention and subscribers for the amount of effort you put into your videos.
Anything directly after sa2 would have been just as heavily scrutinized at launch, probably.
