Copyright strikes or claims from Sony Music? How come some DJs are able to stream nonstop for hours on Facebook, Instagram or CZcams but you get kicked out after a few minutes? Here are 6 things I do to extend my live sessions that ensures I don't raise any copyright flags which in turn means I am able to have a MASSIVE following cos I don't get cut off when streaming.

Hello Eric, unfortunately the algorithm for Facebook is different to the algorithm on CZcams. And to be honest, Facebook can be very ruthless when it comes to copyright infringement (they would stop your stream instantly without any warning). Cheers mate 😎👍🏾

Thank you mate for your feedback. The only way to avoid copyright strikes when you upload a video mix to CZcams is to either use songs that are not copyrighted or to get permission from the record labels before using a song that is copyrighted.

Quick question, please how do one know (the reasons) why their IG live time was reduced from 4 hours back to 1 hour live streaming . Thank you 🙏🏽
Hello, unfortunately we can never truly know. The initial change (increase in live time limit) was meant to help those who’ve had to pivot to virtual events, like yoga and fitness instructors, teachers, musicians, artists and activists, among others during the height of the lockdown due to coronvirus because live became a place for people to gather to connect with each other. Instagram changing the time limit back again could be for various reasons which for now has not been revealed.

THANK YOU I STUMBLED UPON HERE BY ACCIDENT (THEN AGAIN MAYBE NO ACCIDENT) & I'M A SINGER WHO STARTED PLAYING MUSIC & DANCING & TALKING ALL OVER THE MIC IN MARCH LAST YEAR RIGHT WHEN COVID BLEW UP & ALL WAS FINE THEN I STARTED GETTING THE NOTICES & SOMETIMES THEY SHUT ME DOWN BUT I'M NOW SEEING THEY'VE GONE IN & MUTED LOTS OF THE MUSIC. THEY'VE JUST STARTED COMING UP IN MY MEMORIES & I HEAR IT. I ALSO GET NOTIFICATIONS FROM FB THEY'VE GONE IN & DONE WHATEVER DUE TO COPYRIGHT & THEN WILL LIST THE COUNTRIES. I WANT TO DO A 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SHOW BUT NOT QUITE SURE HOW TO DO IT. I PLAYED SONGS LONG THUS THE PROBLEM. AGAIN THANKS FOR THE INFO. I'LL SEE HOW I CAN GET THIS GOING AGAIN.

good video! how d so many djs post dj mixtapes of popular songs on youtube? do they all get permission from record labels??and how do you do you get the permissions?
Thanks mate. Yes, they get permission from the record labels. Easiest way to do this is to post the songs with a "second CZcams channel". When it gets flagged by CZcams with the copyright owner, then you contact them and ask for permission before you use it in your mix.

@@djfritz no. You would contact the record label or copyright owner and request for permission to use the "said track" in your mix. For example, I can email Sony Music and request to use Tiwa Savage's track "44 99" even though I tried it out on another channel.
So, just get the track details and the record label and then contact them as required.

@@DjBlinkBlink I've actually gone and bought evermixbox4 lol and before that had the sc4 adaptor by rode! The sc4 adaptor was working fine, then stopped working with new set up! I got the evermixbox4 and it records perfectly, but when turning fb live on the recording on the listeners end sounds like a needle skipping! Because of the lagging! Its 100% not my WiFi or data on phone. So now I'm trying to find out the solution to this problem and getting the irig stream maybe the answer! I believe if recording into fb live on PC you would need to open up audio settings and adjust the rate as it records in a lower rate. I'm just trying to get info today! Its cool I'll sort it! If you try all the tips I highlighted in my video, the chances of you getting muted would be greatly reduced (if possible you may even escape most times if you use all the tips effectively).
As per the subtitles translator, I would activate it as soon as I get back home today. Do you have a specific language you need on the translator?

Can i livestream and not got copyright in twitch?
Yes you can livestream on Twitch without having any copyright issue at all. Just make sure you don't save the video anywhere on Twitch after your live stream and you would be fine 👍🏾😎

@@djvamzoffical yes that happens due to copyright infringement. You cannot bypass that on CZcams
If you play only Nigerian songs and afrobeats, will you get flagged or taken down?
Yes you would, especially when you play songs from wizkid and tiwa savage that are now under Song and UMG record labels respectively. There are also some songs from Davido, Phyno etc that can get you flagged and even sometimes get you a copyright strike from CZcams .

Very good tips, he forgot one Remixes and edits will fool the system as well. I've been livestreaming for over 5 years and rarely get kicked of.
You are 100% correct. Playing remixes and edits would definitely make you bypass the algorithm 👍🏾.

So let's say you want to play a 2hr set and you decide to play each song for 2 minutes, that's a total of 60 songs. Would you now email 60 different record labels to get permission to play their songs? Also after getting this, do you think Facebook or Instagram's algorithm would know you have the authority or permission to use those tracks?
