I have a 2018 zx10r. The bike is awesome. It's pretty docile from 0 to 8k. From 8k up, it's monster. I like it because you can just cruise around if you'd like, but the bike rewards you with a onslaught of power if you ring it out a bit. My only gripe with the bike is a lack of a fuel gauge.
Dead on with what you said. You can cruise at low speed but it will scream when you open it up. Yes anything newer these days should have a fuel gauge. Haha!
It has a fuel use tracker so you can basically use it instead of a fuel gauge. Thats what i do at least. However an actual real time remaining fuel capacity would have been much better
So basically every bike ever lol people make it seem like 1000s are impossible to ride low speed my gosh
@@MADLITS1K that's not what I was trying to say. I just know that a lot of older 1000s powerband sat lower in the rpm band making them a little twitchier. That can be intimidating to some. No one said they're impossible to ride.
I had a 13 and hated it for that. Got my ass whooped by old ass cbr f4is lmao. Cause the gearing is so retarded long on these.. I like how the transmission is easily removable.. I don't like how kawis just eat motors.
I love the snarl on that thing. The 2021 model has the new TFT display. It must be so hard to get a new one and crawl through the factory break-in period.

I ride the 18' zx10rse. ECU flash with all the goodies on it. Makes 197 at the wheel. Straight monster! Absolutely love it past 8k rpm.

Gsxr low ,mid kill the zx but it doesnt stand a chance top end.i have a 19 and they are even faster once flashed...and bro...plz shift closer to redline next time to feel more of the power.great review

I have the same 2018 bike in mat fusion silver. Absolutely unbelievable machine !! Very easy to ride considering the power the bike has.Yes the bike is a top end monster but my god it does absolutely pull like a freight train. My bike has incredible acceleration so I cant understand how others say it has nothing down low. The mid range punch will throw you off the back if youre not careful. Your review on this bike is excellent and spot on. I purchased my bike after seeing your review. Keep up the good work mate. I live in Australia.
Maybe cbr has more pull during mid than this monster even tho it still has good mid

14 months left before i have got big enough license for this cant wait.stuck on a 2cylinder mt07 (not bad but not screaming inline 4) looks so nice to ride and i sat on one and completely understand exactly what you mean about the seating. I felt like it was apart of me which i look for in bikes if it doesn’t feel stable around my legs im not interested because i ride quick.

i use to not really pay attention to kawi when i rode dirtbikes but i gotta say i LOVED the zx10r i rode and my zx6r is a great bike too. keep up with maintenance and everything seems fine

If you are true, Imo you don't need to get anything bigger than a 600cc. Don't bother wasting money on a 250 or 300 "starter" bike. 600's are more agile, cheaper, more forgiving and 90% as fast as a 1000cc. It is that 10% that will kill new riders, you don't realize how things move at 140-160 and breaking distances until riding for atleast a year.
Bro, I remember exactly that feeling. And you know what? It never goes away lol. I get the same flutters just thinking about my ride home from work, after years of riding.

no where near the same but i own a ninja 400 and i love it. canyon riding is so much fun with a bike that will still hit 120 but is light enough to toss around like your on a scooter
I have a 21 Ninja 400. When it’s time to upgrade I’m leaning towards a ZX-10R or the Ninja 1000sx. That ZX-10R looks and sounds amazing.

I love the newer zx10r's look but my god that 2021 is a straight up eyesore lol. Kawi gives you a good amount of bike for the money, I've always hated the colorways though.....they need more red.

If we’re talking all motor 1000cc the zx10r is a monster upstairs but I saw a video of a gsxr 1000R wiping the floor against everything it went against, they’re underrated and slept on but these days all these 1000s are fairly close to each other.. that new CBR is giving hell too.. wish I had money to buy them all
I have the 2020zx10r and best bike ever i wouldn't trade it for anything my zx10r just fits me like a glove bmw 👎 if i was going to get a second bike would be 2024 cbr rrr sp but keeping my 2020zx10r forever blows my mind i got all this bike brand new for 15,000 out the door put like 2000 into it and its absolutely amazing 👏 people that spend 30k on a bmw and r1m and get smoked by my zx10r they must be pissed and 2020zx10r looks so good i love the dash too just great bike the best 👌 for 15,000

I'm a 2018 MT09 owner and I'm planning to upgrade to ZX10R 2016 or BMW S1000RR 2016 or R1 2016 (not a fan of the exhaust sound though)... Which one would you recommend?

I have a 2016 gen v zx10r. Only thing I don’t like AT ALL is the lack of the initial bite from the front break. At least with stock pads. I’m used to a very firm barely touch it bite. I’m sure it’s something I can change up with aftermarket pads but I love everything else!
How is the bike at low cruising speeds?
@@Scootbreezy23 It’s chill. It really doesn’t get brutal until 8k rpm and up with stock gearing. Definitely can feel the weight and feels like a big bike. Hard to go 40 mph stably. It bounces from 37-46-44-39. It’s all over the place. Hard to modulate power.

@@Scootbreezy23 Well I’m 5’11 and I barely can flat foot it. They sell lowering links to help with that but I have stock ride height on mine. Tbh bud go to some dealerships and just sit on some different bikes. Everyone’s different! 💪🏾

Pretty sure the kawis are known for being good for bigger guys. Longer. The Yamahas are usually smaller, that's why all their fanboys are manlets 😆

I use to ride a 16 ZX10R Winter ❄️ Edition what a machine only thing was i found it uncomfortable tbh which surprised me but everything else was amazing great power,handling,looks. Only thing that id criticise are those clocks imo Kawasaki should have updated the clocks to keep the ZX10R current. Although this ZX10R didn’t have auto blip mine didn’t when i bought it but before i had the bike delivered i had the blipper flashed in and it was 👌. Yours looks good! Yes I dislike the display and wonder when it will get an update. I don’t think auto blip is really needed unless you are riding on the track. I don’t mind using the clutch to downshift. 😄

@@adamstratford6740 Yes my current GSXR 1000 has quickshift with auto blip. It’s nice but I rarely use the auto blip. Some of the other bikes I’ve been on like the European liter bikes work pretty nicely.

More visibility for myself. Nothing wrong with other drivers being able to see you. Not a huge deal during daylight.
